Shadow Ridge Golf Club has a strong following among locals of Kelowna, but it is also garnering a growing popularity amongst visitors. The course's superb condition make the round a pleasure to walk. The layout features a wide variety of holes, offering challenges that appeal to low and high handicappers alike. The versatile golf course is approachable enough for beginners while at the same time offering a challenge to more seasoned players. Water hazards come into play as well as several strategically placed bunkers. The willow trees scattered throughout the course also demand accuracy and a bit of thoughtful strategy. Shadow Ridge G.C. is popular not only for the excellent green conditions and inviting atmosphere, but they also offer the best value of any golf course in the Okanagan.

First time
We played with a local couple Mel and Shirley. Their experience there help a lot as the course is a tight play with tonnes of hidden traps and water. The course its self is easily walked and flat. The grass conditions on both the fairway and greens was second to none. Some of the T boxes needed a bit of maintenance but overall good shape. We will play the course again.
Great place to play
Great course speed of play was awesome. Weather was perfect. Golf was okay but that,s no ones fault but my own. Will play here many more times. Value from golf now was exceptional. Definitely a thumbs up.
Disappointing
Have played here before, and was fine, but this time the course was in rough shape.
Great golf
I'm new to the sport.. Bu it was fun and challenging.. I donated three balls to the ogoo pogo.in the water but great fun!
Beverage Cart
Great clubhouse staff and wonderful playing conditions. But, we were a little disappointed with the lack of a beverage cart considering the heat and how busy the course was.
This course is great for intermediate golfers
Most of the holes require a driver, but the holes aren't long enough to be intimidating. If your ball does end up going off course, it's always within site or on another fairway. The course is priced right for what you get.

Good course to walk
A very flat course with the greens near to the next tee boxes and easy to walk - if you want to get some exercise and are willing to walk this is a great track for that. Lots of massive trees but still wide fairways that are generally easy to hit if you aren't too greedy. Some course management required on some of the holes here. The course is quite pretty but not a lot of really memorable holes. I think this would be a great course for somebody who is just starting to play full length courses. Only drawbacks are the noise of the jets landing next door and the fact that there are no hole maps on the tee boxes. Whaaat?
Good value for the area
This course is located in an area where golf is pretty expensive. Considering that, the course is an excellent value but it does have a few issues.
First, the front nine borders the airport and when it's busy it can be really noisy.
Second, the back nine feels compressed, like they didn't have enough room for nine holes but did it anyway.
Third, conditioning was so-so although the greens were good.Some of the traps have good size rocks in them so be careful .

Fabulous GolfNow Price! Great walking course!
We haven't played here in a while, but my husband and I decided to make the drive from Vernon when we saw a Hot Deal on Golf Now. We prefer to walk and this is a great, flat course to walk; very pretty with lots of water features and well-trimmed trees.
Enough length, well-groomed -- easy to find your ball off the fairway. Greens and fairways are in good shape for the most part, but too many hard-packed, brown spots near the greens. ....some crazy bounces, inconsistent landings, no grass to chip from, in places.
Sadly, the kitchen was closed at 7 PM Friday, so cannot comment on food or service.
We enjoyed our day and will return soon.

The course is great value for the money...........when checking in, the person was on the phone and I had to wait over 5 minute to check in........pretty rude.
Gentleman outside was cheerful and talkative...
Overall, a good experience and I will be returning.....
Great Deal
It was great playing this course especially for such a good price.We got a cart because we saved so much money on the green fees. We usually walk but my friend just finished work so he opted for the cart.

Great Round
We thoroughly enjoyed our round at Shadow Ridge, Brad has done a great job bringing it all together, from the Pro shop to the clubhouse it was a great afternoon we will be back real soon.

Great Pro Shop - lots of stock
Great course - love the variety of trees and as they are trimmed up - easy to find your ball if it strays off the fairway.
Pleasant walking course with many mature trees
Flat walking course with some challenging holes.
Fairway and green maintenance was fairly good but some area needed repairs after wet spring.
