Cottonwood Golf Course
About
Cottonwood Golf Course is still a relatively young course with the first nine holes being completed in 1995 and then being joined by the second nine in 1998, but it has quickly built a loyal following thanks to the excellent green conditions and the extremely affordable rates. Several lakes and streams come into play throughout the golf course and sparsely, but strategically placed bunkers add another element of challenge. The course opens with a tricky par 4. The slight dogleg requires a drive to the middle left of the fairway in order to avoid the water hazards that flank the right side. Its green is large and forgiving but there is sand both in front and behind. Golfers can play either a full round of just nine holes from a variety of different tee boxes, making Cottonwood Golf Course accessible to players of all skill levels.

Good golf course for a casual day/play
This is a good, medium length golf course. Even though it is a bit on the shorter side, it will test even a really good golfer, particularly on some of the tighter holes. It is fun for a medium length hitter as well, but really short hitters might be frustrated on the par 5s and a couple of the longer par 4s where the forward tees just aren't forward enough. The conditions are generally good, but they aren't "pristine" like you would get at a higher end golf course (you get what you pay for - this is half the price of a high end golf course). At least the conditions are better than last year. Thankfully, they seem to be putting water on the fairways this year, where last year they let them dry out until they became really hard. At full price, there are better plays around about the same money. But all in all its a nice play for not that much money.
Great day of golf
as always Golf-Now pulled through with a great buy on a fun island course !!! way to go Golf-Now
Great value
Course was in relatively good shape except for the greens. Greens do need more attention. Lots of divot marks and bumpy. Other than that great course and great value!
Flat course, next to an airport
The course is fairly flat and the greens were pretty bumpy.
Nice public course
Cottonwood has a reasonable mix of challenges, providing for a fun round of golf. There are a couple of elevation changes, doglegs, bunkers, and water hazards, all contributing to an enjoyable round.
A few areas need attention-- the cart paths are dusty and should be oiled, paved, or additional gravel added. There are some dry spots, but given the recent weather and time of year, this is understandable.
GolfNow provides an exceptional way to explore this course and provide for an affordable round of golf. I would definitely return.
Charming country course with pastoral and mountain views
Not long, but challenging because of a number of narrow fairways. Despite keeping rates low, the management manages to maintain the course well. It's fairly flat so walking is easy (just one big hill!). Really nice views of surrounding countryside and mountains in distance.
Course in good shape
Course in good shape. Has some narrow fairways for right hand player with a slice. Greens were good. Challenging but was an enjoyable round. Food in restaurant was good
reliable course
this course is kept well and is always demanding to keep the ball from going over the fences
This course is user friendly.
We love playing at Cottonwood. It has a relaxed atmosphere and the staff is very friendly and personable. The fairways require accuracy and the greens are well maintained. They also have good food!
great value for the money
greens a little firm but have played it before and is always like that hard to stick a ball but otherwise an exceptional day
Good course for a straight shooter and you don't have to bomb it.
Course is in good condition for early season. Pro shop staff are very friendly and helpful. Restaurant is good. All in all a fun place to golf and the course doesn't beat you up.
Course was in good shape, some greens a bit bumpy
Had a great day with good company and a very enjoyable round. The course was in good shape and well maintained. Service at the turn was fast and friendly, great Hot Dogs The service staff in the Pro Shop and Dinning Room were very good
Course offers some uneque holes
I've played this course in the dryer months and it was in great shape.
cool views landing and take off of airplanes
my friends and I always have a good time when we play at Cottonwood.
Great conditions for this time of year
the course is always fun to play with a good speed of play. Conditions have vastly improved for fall play from the past years that I have played. Staff is always very friendly and the restaurant always serves great food.
Overall a great course for the average golfer with challenging back 9.
