Ardmore Golf Course
About
Ardmore Golf Course is a nine-hole course that offers challenges for both inexperienced golfers as well as more seasoned players. The layout features two dramatic 90-degree doglegs. The first is the par-5 second hole, which bends sharply to the right. Those who are fortunate enough to get the right positioning have the opportunity to go for the green in two. The par-4 seventh is the second of the extreme doglegs. It corners to the left and requires very accurate ball positioning. The golf course plays through towering, mature trees including the giant thousand-year-old Douglas firs that line the fifth fairway. They are some of the oldest trees on the Saanich peninsula. The golf course has an alternative set of tees so players have the option of playing an 18-hole round.

Would have been good
This course was in pretty decent condition condition and it would have been real good had they posted on their website that they were aerating the greens when I booked. Had I know I would have booked at a later date. I asked if there was anything they could do for us because of this and the answer was no. Not very good business sense. The fairways were in good condition and there were no waits. We did 18 in just under 4 hrs.
