NkMip Canyon Desert Golf Course
About
Nk'Mip Canyon Desert Golf Course (previously known as Cherry Grove Golf & Country Club) is so-named for its diverse landscape that begins on natural desert and smoothly transitions into lush canyons and valleys. In the centuries prior to the course's construction, the Okanagan people referred to the scenic landscape as Nk'Mip, which roughly translates to "flat bottom land at the mouth of the creek or river." Preserving the stunning natural features, including the abundant native flora and fauna, was one of the top priorities when the Osoyoos Indian Band developed the course into a championship layout in 2001. Despite tumbling across a variety of elevation changes, the golf course is easy to walk and provides stunning views of the South Okanagan Valley along the way. The course offers a fair challenge with water hazards and numerous strategically placed bunkers coming into play.

Great course
Fun course with lots of nice scenery. The green were tough but I started to figure them out by late on the back 9. Now I want to come back to tey it again!
Stormy
Course was in good shape despite a thunder storm. Got soaked but had fun. Always a nice course!
Real gem
Great day. Teamed up with 3 players. One was a regular and provided good insight on the holes. The course was in good condition and the greens we fast. Greens definitely won this round however. Hope to come again when next in the area.
Mostly good
Great condition which is usual for this course.
Good playing time 4 hours.
Beautiful layout
Always love playing this course! Very challenging especially with the wind! Spring and summer course is well maintained. If you shoot a low 80’s round your happy.CR
Interesting Course
Greens had been punched - so putting was a bit of an issue. Front nine is a very nice track - back nine is a bit of a disappointment compared to the front. Staff were helpful and very accommodating
Best greens in the South Okanogan!
My review title says it all! Sometimes the greens crew don't get enough kudos. Great job!
Great course but too many groups and no ranger keeping pace of play
We had a great time but pace of play was quite slow waiting on every shot as they were either.too many groups of the course or the ranger did not work Fridays so no one was told to pick up the pace.
Lovely course though and I would come back again. Staff were great in the proshop.
