Osoyoos Golf and Country Club - Park Meadows

About
Osoyoos Golf Club is home to two 18-hole championship courses that offer unrivaled views of the Okanagan Valley thanks to the club's perch high above the town of Osoyoos. Both golf courses overlook acres of rolling hills and valleys accented with lakes and willow trees. The Park Meadows Course has a more traditional design than the club's other course, Desert Gold, which makes it more approachable for beginners. It still provides a fair amount of challenges as well as some interesting risk-reward holes that appeal to a range of different skill levels. The scenic course features rolling, hilled fairways lined with mature trees. One of the toughest holes on the course is the par-4 second, which is guarded by a large bunker to the right and out-of-bounds to the left.

An excellent day spent golfing with my wife.
Park Meadows was a fun and challenging round. The fairways were forgiving but the first cut was long so keep your eye on your shot. What I liked most was the fairway bunkers weren't set 200 yards out from the tee boxes. Of course the par 3's were sufficiently bunkered which they should be. The greens were well maintained. Putting challenged one's eye so most balls would roll in the direction of the lake. Took us a couple rounds to figure that out but we finally got the mystery solved. During the week a round would take no more than 4 hours other than Tuesdays and Thursdays when league played was scheduled. The driving range was included in the price so it was a definite stop before heading out. The Player's assistant was out on the weekends and was there to assist. He was friendly and helpful and actually came around to many foursomes looking for the owner of an abandoned putter. After the game we stopped for a light snack and refreshment. The restaurant staff and snack bar downstairs were very friendly. Also, the staff in the Pro Shop were very efficient and friendly. Danielle your the best! Overall when rating the experience and value to courses we have played in California, OGC's Park Meadows is a highly recommended course.
Lush, parklike course in good condition.
Very enjoyable experience, and a must play in the Okanagan
valley. All around great facilities from dining, playing and
warm up areas. Cart course only walkable in cool weather.
