i made peace with my self on this course
beginner for 5 months, i had an amazing day with an amazing friend.
Walking the course opened my eyes on the beauty of the area and allowed me some reflexion on the true meaning of happiness , i pushed my expectations behind my limits 113 for 18 holes, thank you for that. Some might complaint about the cold, the wetness and the mud but this was true golf on an amazing course.
Challenging for sure but fair. Look forward to playing there again
I'm a senior so don't hit the ball too far. Great challenge from white tees. I really enjoyed it. Greens were good for this time of year. Fairways not tight but made me plan each shot. Number 1 handicap hole is a real challenge for sure. Absolutely no room for error! Par 3's all great. Great birdie opportunities on par 5's but bunkers definitely come into play. Par 4's were difficult for me. Only 1 par.
A great challenge from the back tees.
The course was very wet but was still playable. When wet I'd recommend using the forward tees. Challenging layout with a variety of hazards, all well maintained. I would strongly recommend taking a cart as there is considerable distance between some greens and tees. I look forward to playing it again.
One of my Vancouver Island top 5.
Great course and softer fall conditions put a premium on solid tee shots. Seemed like extra tough pins today - enjoyed the challenge more than my score.
Good course a bit over priced
I have played this course before it in good shape but expensive 60.00 on a cool cold day in October is Expensive if you find it on golf now for half price it is good
excellent
A good course well kept with great challenges.
The scenery is worth taking in which could slow you down
but enjoy the moments
Deceptively challenging!
This is an above average course that I have played before. They had punched the greens a few days before so greens were a little slower than usual. We all know though that is part of maintenance and shows they are doing it. I have played the greens in the summer and they are fast and have lots of contour. I think this course held an LPGA tournament or was rated for it a number of years back so that is the quality of it. All in all a great day.
wonderful bunkers if you happen to be there.
this course is walkable but a far distance between holes. nice greens. must like dog legs when play this course.
So much sand, you'll feel like your at the beach!
Plenty of sand traps on this course. The rough is long and easy to loose your ball. Nicely kept course with lots of challenging holes. It was extremely foggy when we played which took away from the beauty of this course. Got a great deal on golf now ($23 for the round). This course is relatively expensive compared to others in the area
lots to prep for
dog legs and blind shots makes for some good times and some frustration.
