Twin Lakes Golf Course
About
Twin Lakes Golf Resort in South Okanagan is situated in a beautiful valley surrounded by towering mountains covered with forests of firs and pines. It's part of the Okanagan Golf Trail, a group of courses in the Penticton, Oliver, and Summerland areas that each offers a diverse terrain and unique playing experience. The golf course full utilizes the dramatically undulating terrain, incorporating elevated tees, rolling fairways and sloped greens. The lofty elevations also provide stunning views across the rugged landscape. The seventh is the toughest hole with a large sand trap combined with a narrowed fairway. As far as difficulty goes, it's followed by the equally tricky 16th hole, which has a lengthy sand trap that spans almost the entire left side of the golf course. In addition to the golf course, Twin Lakes also has a short-game practice area with chipping and putting greens as well as a riving range.

Worth the drive
Golfed Twin Lakes for the 1st time yesterday.
Loved the 1st tee off. Once on the valley floor it's a bit boring. There are a few fun holes on the course, (11) and a really narrow one. Other than that, very wide open.
Really friendly staff make up for what the course lacks.
It was in very good shape for this time of year. I will play again now that I know what to expect.
Course is a little rough around edges, but good value with special rate
The course has a nice layout with some elevated tees, some water and lots of trees, yet not particularly tight as fairways are quite wide most holes. Proshop staff are friendly and helpful. They offer special green fee rates at times which offset the $45 incl. tax. cost of cart if you don't mind teeing off in the afternoon. Would like to have stayed for a meal after the game, but the restaurant is closed this year apparently.
We ended up behind a slow group, and with a 1:08 pm tee time decided to quit after hole 14 as the sun was about to go down behind the mountain and it had already been 4.5 hours to that point. Never saw a marshall unfortunately, as there was at least one full hole open in front of the slow group and a marshall could have sped them up hopefully. Previous round was only 4.5 hours, so hopefully this was just bad luck that day, not the norm.
Disappointed
The management team is poor, they advertise one price in a golf book then ask way more when you arrive along with $38 for a golf cart. They have $10 days but still $38 for the cart and the speed of play is terrible as they don't have a Marshall out keeping people moving, so you don't finish your game as it goes dark. One day we were over 6 hours. The RV section is run down, the driving range netting has feel apart and you hear balls bouncing off trailers. Also some greens had been sanded and that was not mentioned. So disappointing to see a good little course go down hill.
Summerland Vacay
We decided to try this course - it was fun and we had a great day! We would definitely recommend it
par 3 challege
Great GolfNow value, nice modern carts, walkable if a couple of hills Ok.
Some narrow fairways, second cut deep enough to lose a ball.
Never lost a ball
Hit hard by drought but fairways and greens in decent shape. Surounded by mountains with many sand traps and narrow fairways. My score was high but I didn't have my own clubs. Overall 2 thumbs up, good value.
price was right
For $10.00 after 12 o clock Tuesday it was a great deal.
Enjoyed the course
Our first time playing this course. We were not impressed with the food but the staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the course, it was a warm day but there was a breeze which made it very comfortable. We would recommend this course and it was a very good value. Challenging greens.
twin lakes
had a great time and will be BAAAACCKKKK!!!
got 1 bird and shot a deer on the first hole...!!!! photo!!!!
Twin lakes in the summer heat
The course was a little dry due to the heatwave going on, fast tough greens and some dry patches throughout. Nice course with great variety. Could have done without a couple of holes, #11 was tough. Elevated tee boxes for 1 and 10 were a fun start to the round! Would def play again, even in 38 degrees.
Great course,fantastic views
Very nice course, great to see the restaurant now open, will try their prime rib one of these Friday' or Saturday evenings.
Good time Golfing at Twin Lakes
The course was in excellent shape. They put in a new green at 2 and at 4 and are now playing them. They are a great improvement over the old two and will get better with age. We had a terrible hail and thunder storm just as we started on the 10th sat it out, started again then caught in it again on the 11th and horn sounded do to lightening. The managers gave us a 9 hole or 50 percent off Friday afternoon golf good till the end of June. I felt they went over and above as the weather was great for the front nine.
Good Times
The course is in really good condition for this early in the season. Fun was had by all, the tempoarary greens are gone and the improvements to the greens on holes 2, 4 and 6 are really impressive.
Looking forward to going back.
golfnow
Got excellent rate to play this great course. Weather was little stormy but got in a super fast round
Great course
Great course I have been there 3 times now and the course is in good shape.
Nice loation
Two temporary greens, expected, as all courses need renewal. Hole on the back nine, should be converted to a beer and food bypass. Extremely difficult, narrow, downhill and uphill. Discouraging if average golfer.
Great value and beautiful scenery.
Great value and beautiful scenery. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
closes while you play!
This is a great little course. They have many deals that make it very cheap to play as well. The elevation changes are unreal at times. However be AWARE the club house/halfway house closes at 6! So if you have a late day tee time you can't get any food or drink or use the bathroom! The worst part about that, is that they didn't even warn us prior to our round.
Average at best
2 temporary greens for no apparent reasons, course needs water
