Twin Lakes Golf Course
About
Twin Lakes Golf Resort in South Okanagan is situated in a beautiful valley surrounded by towering mountains covered with forests of firs and pines. It's part of the Okanagan Golf Trail, a group of courses in the Penticton, Oliver, and Summerland areas that each offers a diverse terrain and unique playing experience. The golf course full utilizes the dramatically undulating terrain, incorporating elevated tees, rolling fairways and sloped greens. The lofty elevations also provide stunning views across the rugged landscape. The seventh is the toughest hole with a large sand trap combined with a narrowed fairway. As far as difficulty goes, it's followed by the equally tricky 16th hole, which has a lengthy sand trap that spans almost the entire left side of the golf course. In addition to the golf course, Twin Lakes also has a short-game practice area with chipping and putting greens as well as a riving range.

Fun
Always enjoyable playing Kaledan’s twin lakes course! Elevated tees to start both 9’s and a wide variety of holes for any level golfer! Definitely more fun to play the white tees, unless you’re a big hitter ! Overall a gem! Thx Carey Ridley
Your feedback is important to us, Carey. Thank you for sharing your 5-star experience. We look forward to seeing you again at the course soon! Thanks for choosing Twin Lakes Golf Course.

Great Course
Great course for everyone but beginners could be too challenging for them.

Long Time Favourite but....
Twin Lakes is a good course. It used to be a great course, with a great clubhouse. But they've screwed with it too much.
It used to be that you knew the price and could say to friends, "it cost $42 with a cart. Now, T.L. has got onto the Golf Now thing and you never know what you're going to pay. So the management puts on deals but hoses you for the carts. If you want to walk, you can get a good deal. I'd just like to see a couple of prices.
They sell an annual membership, but with the prices that you pay for carts on top of it, I don't find it worth it.
They have one of the nicest settings for a restaurant in the Okanagan, but they messed that up. It seems that they just can't get a cook who would like to work for 6 or 7 months of the year (their season). They messed around with this cook and that cook, who charged way too much for the food, then wondered why they didn't get the business they used to. So now they have shut down the restaurant. All they needed is good burgs and fries, a few salads and sandwiches, and a daily soup at a reasonable price and they'd be back in business. It is really sad that it is shut down. Really sad. Yes, you can get food and beverages at the turn, but it used to be really nice to have a game of golf, then stay for a nice dinner.
The course is now better than ever. They have cut down the long grass between the 3rd and 8th fairways which slowed play down somewhat. The fairways are in good shape and they've been really attentive to the greens for a few years now.
The 7th fairway along the highway is all dug up and it is now 2 par 3's with one par three development halted in the middle of work. If they spent half as much time dealing with the legalities of "moving dirt" in the ALR as they have trying to push through their real estate development, they might have had this debacle over with by now.
So the management is a little screwball and more focussed on real estate than golf course business. Overall though, its a nice course to play.

Hi Dolly...
Thank you for your comments...
I am not sure where you have gathered your information, but I would love to update you and provide you with accurate information. Please call me anytime at 250.497.5359
You nailed it with your review. When a server from the restaurant becomes the GM and had no clue things go south. Rates are all over the board depending on who you know and what day it is. Surprised there are any members at all because the course ONLY caters to green fee players. Condition of course is great if you can get past the pro shop BS
Course in the best shape it’s been in years, the people there are always super friendly.like the clearing of the heavy brush however wish they didn’t take down trees
Thank you for your review. We will pass along your positive experience to our team at Twin Lakes Golf Course. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
A must play experience with challenging and not so challenging layout. Great variety of holes and scenery.
Would not hesitate to play again when in the general area of the Okanagan.

Great grounds keepers make great golf courses
Because the Management has hired great greens keepers and Great Pro Shop people this course has become a great course to play at. It is a lot of fun. They doing a lot of improvements that are obvious and recommended by members. The only negative is that there is no restaurant or food cart on the course. They do have a small bistro where you can get hotdog, sandwiches, chocolate bars, bee, coolers. Hopefully as the attendance improves there will be a resturant that can not only service the golf course but service the community. As well it would be nice to have a food cart on the course on the busy days, such as Tuesday's and Thursdays. thanks for working had to improve our club.

Great course with zero tespect
Course is in awesome location and grounds crew have it in great shape. Super fun and challenging
Things go south with management and pro shop/carts as they have no clue on a pricing strategy. Players pay anywhere from $10 to $72 for play on the same day depending on where you book or who you talk to and tee off. $10 Tuesday is a joke unless you enjoy a 6 or 7 hour round of golf. Pro shop is stocked with clubs and crap that belongs in Value Village and is actually embarrassing.. most expensive cart rentals in the province at $20 per seat + tax.
Used to be a well run course but not any more

Hi jorcar11,
Wow... sorry you had such a terrible experience with us.
I will let Tim's Golf Garage know that you don't like what he offers for sale. If you would like to tell him yourself, please call him at 250.770.0543 I am sure he would love to hear from you.
Thank you for your review but to be honest your opinion on pricing strategy is a bit confusing.
We offer the lowest rate in the valley for 18 holes w/cart, I am sorry that this angers you.
As for your complete dislike for me??? What did I not give you to make you so upset? By all means, please feel free to call me should you wish to discuss this further.
I do hope you have a wonderful summer... I know we will!
Best Value
Beautiful golf course and outstanding value. Kind of out
of the way unless you stumble upon it. Two levels with
difficult holes to get to the upper level. Warm and helpful
staff in both the pro shop and food/beverage area.
Would go there again anytime if I could find it again.

Fun course to play
While not an overly challenging course, the layout and the surroundings make this a great place to play. Great mountain vies, sunny and warm.
