Ok
Went with a few friends through an online deal. It was 40 bucks each so I wasn't sure what to expect. Pace of play was awesome but besides that this course is average at best. To still have muddy areas with the drought we have had is insane. The sand traps are unplayable, they are filled with rocks and in some cases boulders. The scenery was pretty impressive but the actual quality of golf course was just not there. I have to wonder if all the money and time for maintenance is spent on the north course but I won't return to find out.
Fantastic Hot Deal value!
The fairways were in rough shape and saturated. But the greens were in good condition. Good pace of play. The restaurant is a hidden gem!
Best Bang for Your Buck
Great gem of a course. Newish power carts, but definitely flat enough to walk. The staff are awesome. I would suggest cleaning up the tee box areas with some garbage cans, new benches and ball washers. Other than that, it was great.
First few holes are in pretty rough condition. Against the mountains they get not enough sun; and even in the summer, it was a bit of a soft mess in spots. Otherwise the rest of the course was in great shape except for a few small sections.
Golf course would not credit 1 no show player
So I booked a tee time for 3 players at Golden Eagle in Pitt Meadows through Golf Now, Total cost was $195.00. $65 for each player. Unfortunately, due to an emergency, 1 player could not make it out. I was only informed of this after the 24 hr cancellation notice policy. We get to the course and head into the pro shop. I inform the staff of this and the response from him: "Oh that's just too bad. There is nothing we can do on our end. You need to call Golf Now and see if they can give you a refund for the no show player."
So now my card is charged for 3 players instead of 2. I get home and use the Golf Now chat to see if they can do anything. All I get from the chat is an automated response for every sentence or question I type. I then call the Golf Now direct line and I again get an automated response system. What's the point of chatting or calling for support if all I get is some computer generated responses? A.I. is BS. I will no longer be using Golf Now to book future Tee times.

Better be hitting it straight
Tight fairways and vegetation that causes for lost balls of shots aren’t accurate
If the price is right….
If you can get on the course for less than $50 it’s a decent option to consider. They haven’t invested any money on the course for years and it shows.
