Swan-e-set Bay Resort Country Club
About
Situated in the Pitt River Valley, the two 18-hole courses at Swan-e-set Bay Resort & Country Club were sculpted from a beautiful landscape of meandering streams, sparkling blue lakes, and towering mountains. Of the total 36 holes, water hazards come into play on 25. The Resort Course has a straightforward design with no hidden hazards. The layout features wide, player-friendly fairways and spacious greens that will forgive slightly errant shots. The golf course is mostly flat, making it pleasantly walkable. While it is gentle enough for beginners a smattering of strategically placed bunkers and water hazards provide just enough difficulty. The golf course shares the terrain with an abundance of wildlife including deer and cranes. There is also no better location to enjoy views of the mountains of Vancouver's Lower Mainland.

Tough, but beautuful
My handicap was 14.
I got a 30-game pass with the Great West Golf Group.
It's a great deal, and my buddys have enjoyed the 15% off, and I try to pick the best rates on their website.
I had trouble breaking 100 on the first couple of games, but with a little necessary course management and shedding the rust, I am now back to the low 90s and hope to get back into the 80s again.
With the 30-game pass I can golf anytime of the week, and it works out to $60 a game. Also, I can book well in advance. Hazelmere is very nice, and I give the clubhouse restaurant 5 out of five. But the Swaneset Links and Resort
are the courses I play most.
Bunkers are dried up and have the right amount of sand, with no rocks and they're situated fantastically on the fairways and around the greens (fairly deep). The greens are fast and resistant to ball marks.
The fairways are great and the rough around the greens beyond the skirt is the perfect height and consistent.
Lots of water, but unlike Northview Canal, or Mayfair Lakes, the water is really attractive with lots of fauna on the perimeters.
Yesterday while walking at one Fairway we had a deer run down the entire length right past us Full Tilt. We figured a bear spooked it, but it's just stuff like that makes the courses so scenic.
The surrounding mountains are majestic, and change every week as the snowline retreat.
The geeenskeepers are better than most, professional and polite, and really good at what they do.
Even earlier in the season when I shooting over 100, we always had a really great time largely because it is just so darn scenic and beautiful to play on.
Both courses are flat for easier walking,
Worse conditions ever!!!
Horrible greens for the price. Never seen this condition of greens .Course maintenance staffs is not friendly, they just kept driving toward us although we are in the middle of our swing.
I suggest management should have a good who is working for them!!!
Amazing Facility - challenging track
Both courses are Swan-e-Set are very challenging, bordering on too tough for me (especially on the links side)
Always in great shape, greens are usually quick and true.
Keep it straight and you'll be fine!
play both courses
links; tight long from the tips greens are amazing one of my fav courses in bc. duno if its tru links
resort; more open then the links course plays long from the tips almost as good as the links
