I like this course very much. It is similar to some of the courses in Edmonton; very playable and the staff are awesome.
Getting better everyday
Still lots of winter kill but getting better everyday. Greens are slower than they look but rolling true.
Nice course
Always easy to walk and course is in great shape this year
Good Day
Just had injections into my spine a couple of weeks ago and thanks to GolfNow specials I was feeling better about the price to pay for a game I might not be able to complete. Not only did I complete the game it was also a beautiful day. Thanks again
Pretty good for this early
The PG's conditions are pretty good for this early in the season. Yes, there are dead patches of grass from winter kill, but I'm getting every other course in the north has them as well. The greens are pretty good.
ITS APRIL GOLF IN PRINCE GEORGE. WHAT DO YOU EXPECT.
the staff are friendly. the course was well kept considering the snow just melted. its always fun to play here. it would be an easy walk, no hills. wide open. just dont eat at the restaurant. the staff tell you not to eat there.
Greens are in great shape.
Fairways are getting better. Bunkers need some work, a few of them are great with fluffy deep sand, but most are like a parking lot with a bit of sand on top. Other than that everything was nice!
WOW!!!! What wonderful changes they have made...
This golf course is now a place that you can truly enjoy. They have put in 18 New Greens plus the Practice Green....Their new greens are has good as any Golf Course in the are public or private...New green irrigation system that keeps them well watered and receptive to any shot played in...When you walk in the door you are greeted by Coley, the PGA professional...He has a smile that is tattooed on his face that makes you feel welcome and appreciated right from the start...There are groups that play 3 or more times per week mornings...He had me join one on Friday...Great group and a lot of fun....No "high stakes" consequently "no pressure"...If you haven't played this course recently...PUT IT IN YOUR ROTATION...You won't be disappointed.
Great service and good coarse
I like thos coarse. Recent transplant from Edmonton and I will be purchashing a multi pass for this coarse. It is a good test of your game but the STAFF are aweaome which makes it even better.
Nice Walk
First time out in a year due to ongoing back pain and it was nice to go for a walk with a good friend as I could not really call what I was doing as golf but GolfNow offered a good price that made it worthwhile to go out and try and see what my body could do.
It is nice course to play.
This course has lots of water and bunkers which makes it very challenging.
Greens are decent. Fairways are terrible.
Almost never rewarded with a good lie in the fairway, this has little to do with condition of the turf, but more to do with patches of weeds and/or different types a surface (multiple types of grass, weeds, dirt and even some pea gravel). Unless the fairways are re-sodded they will just get worse over time.
