Opened in 1913, Qualicum Beach Memorial Golf Club is one of the oldest courses in British Columbia. This historic course is also one of the most photographed Vancouver Island golf courses thanks to its ideal location that provides panoramic views of Hornby Island, Mt. Arrowsmith, and the Strait of Georgia. Don't let the views distract you too much, the course requires a fair amount of accuracy with its narrow fairways that are lined with trees. There are also a few strategically placed bunkers. The layout is a manageable 5,688 yards from the back tees, providing an opportunity to hone your short and mid-iron skills. The golf course has a traditional layout that has managed to withstand the test of time. It's a favorite among locals and visitors alike.

This place has been in operation for 100+ years. The trees are majestic and so are the views from the patio, putting area and on the first green.

Definitely playable year round, excellent drainage. Owned by the Town of QB, contracted out operation of the biz...

It's a big 9 hole course and because you cross a busy road after playing 3 holes, it breaks things up and gives a sense of it being more like an 18 hole layout.

Play two rounds and hopefully shave a few strokes on the back nine!

As is typical with all mid-Island golf courses, Qualicum Memorial is a pleasure to play.

Caveat: Not a track to play if your time is limited. Can be slow!

This is a fun course. A few of the par 4's although rather short, are difficult due to the beautiful large trees. Drainage is amongst the best on Vancouver Island, making it an excellent choice for those wet winter months. Lunch or dinner after golf on the patio overlooking the Georgia Strait and mainland mountains is also unequalled on the island.
