Revelstoke Golf Club
About
Revelstoke Golf Club enjoys the majestic Monashee and Selkirk Mountain Ranges as its backdrop amidst mature forests and sparkling lakes. The stunning setting is accented by the might Columbia River, which runs alongside the course. The classic championship design dates back to 1924, making it one of the oldest golf courses in the area. This course is perfect for golfers who enjoy traditional courses. The layout offers several risk-reward opportunities and plenty of variety. Towering fir and cedar trees border the fairways and there are strategically placed bunkers situated throughout. The course is situated on land that was formerly the site of an old equestrian racetrack. Revelstoke's current clubhouse served as the headquarters for the races circa 1911. In addition to the golf course, there is also a driving range, three practice greens, and a practice bunkers.

Greens need help
This is a great track . The only problem was the greens need a lot of help. Lots of winter kill on most greens . There are only a couple that are good.
Revelstoke golf club
It's a good mountain course, in fine condition and we enjoy it once or twice a summer. Revelstoke is a destination spot for us because of this course, the rock climbing, and Mt. Begbie
Great course
We had a wonderful time golfing. It was very majestic with the course set between the river and the mountains. Pace of play was great. We struggled a little with the course layout but would definitely golf here again.
Beautiful course, majestic tree lined holes.
Beautiful mountain course, but greens, and fairways were in rough shape.
Great views
Amazing views and tree lined holes. Greens were fast but in rough shape. Would recommend for the mountain golf experience.
Great location for golf
Was great weather, great people, and most importantly great course! Definitely recommend for anyone visiting Revelstoke
Great track
This course was in amazing shape and the mountain views are spectacular. The staff was amazing in the golf shop and in the restaurant. The range was great, they have a brand new synthetic grass strip that was awesome to hit balls off of. This is a tradition layout and a pure golf club. It's not overly long but the ball doesn't seem to fly as far here. Anyways I could go on about the course and friendly service but I recommend you go check it out. It's a must play if you are passing through
Nice course
Very nice but mosquitoes, so bring spray. Also as cart girl not around later in day, should have water stations for those hot days.
Nice course
Tried to golf here last year when travelling through but it rained...finally made it this time. The course was good and the staff very friendly.
Excellent mountain course
A bit out of the way, but well worth it. Course is in good shape, challenging and set in a great location
Course is in terrible shape
This course as I remember was very well taken care of 5 years ago when I played it
The driving range should be shut down very purely maintained and the balls are all like hitting rocks. I came to BC from Alberta on a golf trip with my wife expecting to golf some amazing courses. .I'm very disappointed with this golf course. I will not be back to this golf course unless some major changes happen and this course is better taken care of. Next course I will be playing is Hyde Mountain on Tuesday August 18.
Beautiful Scenery
Mature golf course. Views of the Columbia river on some holes. Well laid out course.
The scenery was awewome
I would recommend this course to anyone. The scenic moutain view and the river playing on several of the holes was great. I would play it again.
Bad Condition.
Played this course last weekend and was extremely disappointed in the condition it was in: the greens were burnt, covered in debris, the fairways were in rough shape, and a lot of the fairways had dips, holes, bumps, and lumps to mess up the lie of a well placed shot. I had always wanted to play Revelstoke because of it's locations next to the river and the beautiful mountain back drop, but I doubt I'll ever go back. Just glad I got such a good deal, else I would have been even more disappointed.
Worst greens I've ever played
The course itself is a beautiful location! Next to the Columbia River, scenic views of the mountings. A couple years ago there was even a moose wandering the course. This year however, the course is in fair shape but the greens .... burnt, punched, and guess where they put the holes, no, not on the green parts!
I booked last minute for $20 so won't complain because I did get to golf but 3 days ago I played Tobiano in Kamloops. Unfair comparison perhaps.
Spectacular Scenery
spectacular setting surrounded by snow-
capped mountains along the roaring
Columbia River. Fun course to play.
Fun and challenging
A great course, good value for the dollar, awesome scenery and friendly staff.
Excellent value, although the course is not overly long, it plays verily tight on many holes and will give all levels of golfers a good challenge.
Excellent value, although the course is not long, it plays tight on a number of holes, offering all levels of golfers a good challenge. Great condition and plays at a great pace.
