About
MaraHills Golf Resort (formerly known as Hyde Mountain Golf Course) boasts a stunning setting thanks to its location within the hills above Mara Lake, with views that span the surrounding mountains and hardwood forests. Les Furber, a well known name in British Columbia golf, designed this challenging layout. You'll be using every club in your bag and you can't afford to take any of the tee shots lightly. The golf course is routed through dense groves of mature trees and across deep ravines that make for some intimidating tee shots. One hole that exemplifies the MaraHills Golf Resort experience is the par-4 fourth hole. At 483 yards, the yardage may seem strange but you'll understand why it has so much length once you're standing on the tee box, which is perched 200 feet above the fairway. The elevation offers an incredible view but be prepared for a difficult hole from tee to green.

Fun course..not easy!
Many different type of holes plus elevation changes which makes the course fairly hard. It was quite interesting and the views are great. Janna in the clubhouse after was very friendly and the view from the patio was spectacular!

Fast greens, challenging layout.
Greens are still in good condition and rolling fast. Tough reads and difficult pin placements made it very challenging today.

very challlenging course for Bogie Golfers but great fun to play even if it is very tough...

The Mara Lake Challenge
I’ve been playing this course since day one. It’s a great and challenging course. Always in great shape, especially when the spring runoff clears up. The staff are excellent. There needs to be full time $10 junior rates when playing with an adult. Don’t like the 2022 name change, not needed and disrespectful of the Hyde family.
Cool course
This is a very cool course. The best thing I like about it is the spectacular views and that it is different/unique. Lots of elevation changes, challenging, in good shape and the staff are super laid back and friendly. Its just a good fun challenging course and memorable...

The course has great features
Great up and down mountain play, some tight fairways and wicked out of bounds. A few stunning views,

Beautiful Course, slow play Wednesday
Staff were friendly, course was in very great shape and very picturesque. Only thing preventing 5 stars was slow pace of play. First 9 was just over 2 hrs, next 2 holes took 45 mins.
