About
MaraHills Golf Resort (formerly known as Hyde Mountain Golf Course) boasts a stunning setting thanks to its location within the hills above Mara Lake, with views that span the surrounding mountains and hardwood forests. Les Furber, a well known name in British Columbia golf, designed this challenging layout. You'll be using every club in your bag and you can't afford to take any of the tee shots lightly. The golf course is routed through dense groves of mature trees and across deep ravines that make for some intimidating tee shots. One hole that exemplifies the MaraHills Golf Resort experience is the par-4 fourth hole. At 483 yards, the yardage may seem strange but you'll understand why it has so much length once you're standing on the tee box, which is perched 200 feet above the fairway. The elevation offers an incredible view but be prepared for a difficult hole from tee to green.

5 hr round. Wait on most holes. Other than that a unique course but not player friendly. difficult!

Super friendly staff, great course and close to home! Best part ... $55 Wednesdays all day!! Have to check it out. Believe that price includes a cart!!

Challenging course
Awesome elevations and creative course layout. Because it’s a mountain course with sweeping vistas of Mara Lake and undulating fairways, you can’t avoid some tee blocks that require you to aim blind. However, landing areas when shooting blind are generous.

Rained out
We only played 7 holes and had to quit because of rain and lightning. The golf course was giving refunds .

Beautiful and superb food
What great shape great staff and great food .We had the chicken wings and msn top five I have ever had.I know crazy right had to tell just how good it and the salad they make over golf first ha ha .The waitress also was super friendly and promo. Know about the course such great Kay out with some of the best greens I have played this year.Anyways is great value on golf pass go play it won’t disappoint.

Great views
Very channeling greens and fast Only note cart paths need smoothing out as they are rough in places but course is an adventure between greens and tee boxes

Gorgeous course
Beautiful challenging course with breathtaking views and difficult layout. A few easy holes but many very challenging holes where you are almost guaranteed to lose a few balls (or find some if you're search). My one complaint was the pace of play, the round took over 5 hours to complete due to the traffic on the coirse that day.

Fabulous golf!
We made this course part of our girls golf weekend and Kelly was a standout Marshall. She made us feel welcome , took our photo on the 4th hole and ensured that we enjoyed our game. The after golf dinner was equally enjoyable with Jana, our server. The meal was outstanding, superb and great value! Kudos to the kitchen staff! We will be back! Many thanks..

A great deal in the Shuswap
Hyde Mountain is still very affordable and the course conditions are the best I have ever seen them. The greens are much firmer now so they are quick and true.

Very scenic views

Pin placements
The greens on this course are hard enough with undulating and different tiers. There is no need to hide the pins in the hardest spots possible on a Sunday, when the average golfer is going out to play. If you need to make to pins the hardest possible, do it on a club night like men’s night.
Course is in great condition. Restaurant is very good.

Very fair course
Got a chance to play this course this week and we were not disappointed.
We normally like to walk when golfing but this is one course that you have to ride a cart. We did like the fact that the price for a round included the price of the cart.
We arrrived early and were able to tee off a few minutes early. We were a 2 ball and teed off at 1.35. We caught up to another 2 ball on the 7th hole who were very slow, but they disappeared after the 9th. After that we saw no one.
As this was our first time on the course we took the course guide booklet which was very useful.
The course is as described, extremely beautiful, with wonderful views on each hole, challenging enough to lose a few balls but not impossible.
This is going to be our local couse and though we will not join (we like to walk courses) this is certainly going to one we play regularly and take guest to,
