Northview Golf & Country Club boasts two 18-hole championship courses designed by Arnold Palmer. The club hosts the Air Canada Championship, formerly the Greater Vancouver Open, every year. The courses showcase the wide range of Palmer's design capabilities by being completely different from one another. The Florida-style Canal Course features more water than the heavily wooded Ridge Course. Being more open, it is also more subject to the prevailing winds. The layout featuring wide fairways and undulating greens is reminiscent of traditional links courses. Both the Ridge and Canal share the same stunning mountain views. There are also two Bald Eagles that call the golf courses home. The Canal's signature hole is the par-3 penultimate hole. This tricky hole has a shallow green that is not only surrounded by water on three sides there are also bunkers to watch out for.

You come for the Ridge, Stay for the Canal

Maybe not as flashy as the Ridge course, this flat golf course allows for bombers to bomb! That doesn't mean it's harder for control players or easier for the bombers. Bunkers, water, and well protected par 5's mean that whatever approach requires precision onto the fairways and greens. Easy on the short game if the miss is in the right area.

Always great

Love playing this course. Its challenging, especially if the wind picks up, some narrow shots you have to make. Great practice facilities and overall professional feel to the place. Will be back.

Solid Course

From your opening tee shot it's obvious that the course is blunt in it's presentation. Your desired tee shot is clearly laid out each hole and the greens are well shaped. Some freedom in the approach shots but miss on the side of caution! The times for aggression will clearly present themselves. The types of holes vary from uphill to downhill, left to right and vice versa. Greens are kept at a moderate pace for the many spots of undgulating greens.
