Ruin all day
All the way from 1st hole to 18th hole, mosquitos, marshal and the players behind my group was nightmare.
My wife and i Had a tee off at 8 in the friday morning at mcclerry golf course in vancouver.
I hit trouble shot for my first driver shot
I was trying to hit my second shot like most player do. Right before hitting driver,
One of the old guy behind my group yelled at me that do not hit the second ball.
On top of that, he told me that it is better to move tee box forward for me.
What a rude attitude this guy.
On the third hole, the marshal drove at me and saying that one of the player who is mcclerry golf course manager playing behind my group.(so what?)
And he told me do not hit the ball twice
I felt that The marshal was bugging me too
I found out that the marshal was played with me
The old guy who was playing behind me was not a golf course manager
Why did the marshal lie at me?
Does golf course manager matter to me? NO
When i was standing at the 17th hole to set up,
That person behind my group, misshot the ball and it landed just few feets away where i was standing.
Those guys did not call fore at all
The players, the marshal and mosquittos were terrible. It was night mare.
The worst of the local municipal courses
Very expensive for what you get. The balls at the driving range haven't been changed in at least 8 years. After April the course can dry out and have great greens however the attitude of the staff, aweful food in the clubhouse and value for the dollar means I will never go back.
Great course
This course is the nicest of the Vancouver munis. It requires precise tee shots and good putting. The greens are very fast and very true. The nicest greens I have played in the lower mainland. The layout is fantastic. The only annoying thing is the water pump squeeling at the back of the course when it is running. One tip is to take one less club off the tee. Your dispersion will be better and you will have a shot at the green and not punching out of the trees. Narrow fairways.
