Predator Ridge Golf Resort - Ridge
About
Canadian golf-course architect Doug Carrick built the 18 new holes on and near a ridge that rolls down toward Lake Okanagan. It affords marvelous views from the property's high points and weaves through forest below. The Ridge rates as a prettier, more player-friendly rival to its next-door neighbor, the infamously tough Predator, designed by Les Furber.
The new 18 holes were built with scenery and playability in mind. Carrick used a piece of property with more severe features and loaded with trees, deviating from the mostly wide-open Predator. He also weaved fairways around granite outcroppings in many spots, often in view and frequently in play.

Beauty
Great spot.
Enjoying their nice practice facility, club house, food and of course the golf. Conditions were great and I enjoyed the layout of course.
Like most BC courses it has great character engulfed in beautiful BC's nature.
A must play.
The facility over all is great. One knock on the course - Every time I’ve played it they cart path only 5 or 6 holes for no reason I can see other than rotating cart path only holes to keep the course looking great. If you can get a good rate on golf now it’s worth the play. If you pay the rack rate it better be going on someone’s expense account. Way to expensive for the average guy to pay. Restaurant is great and prices aren’t to bad.
First Class Operation and Experience
We played The Ridge course today after The Predator course yesterday. The whole operation of both courses is first class, excellent range, staff and pro shop. I preferred the Ridge course to the Predator personally - nicer views, more interesting holes. We got a ‘hot deal’ on both courses through Golf Now - essentially twilight rates. Today’s Ridge experience w a 3:10 t-time had us golfing the last 2 holes in dark conditions after very slow play by groups ahead were not at all concerned to move along so groups behind could finish. We played a 4hr 45min round, and had 3 groups stacked up on the par 3’s - with little concern by the marshal despite us mentioning it.
Predator course was also fun and spectacular. Speed of play yesterday was very good.
Overall - highly recommended, excellent experiences!
Great course
Very fun newer course. Immaculately cared for and cut right out of a rockey ridge. Lots of very beautiful views and challenging shots. Pace of play last round was nearly 5 hours however.
Great for the rate
Got a great rate on golf now. Well worth that price. The rack rate is way too much to pay for this course. Love the layout and scenery overall. First hole is underwhelming but the rest is great.
The course was beautiful but very slow. No Marshall the be seen for the entire 18 holes. There was a very slow group infront of us and a full 3 holes empty infront of them. Disappointed that there wasn’t more done to insure proper pace.
Never again.
We were followed by the course ambassador for 12 holes. He’d stop, say we were behind pace, then go up the fairway and watch us. This happened too many times to count
It was 35C and the carts had no water. We were told there was a refreshment cart on both the front and back 9 and a light snack, sandwich and beverages were at the turn.
No refreshment cart on the front 9 and after searching at the turn we were told the services were located on the other course - where the members were playing. We finally found the beverage cart on the 12th green. “We don’t drive around because the carts are top heavy”. Really? Again confronted by the ambassador to advise our pace was slow. Oddly we’d never waited to play nor was there a group visible behind us. At 16 we were advised our pace was too slow, do not tee off. There’s lots of complaints and you’re holding up 72 other golfers and they are getting frustrated. Go to the 150 yd marker and hit from there. Really? Yes. Again there was nobody behind us. We spoke to the same ambassador on the 18th green. He told us there were four “asians” behind us. They are not good golfers and are holding up everyone. Really?? Now there’s four “Asian’s” slowing play? VERY frustrated at how we were treated. The other couple playing with us went to complain. We were met in the parking lot by the course manager and he advised he’d heard we were a little upset offering a drink on the patio as compensation. No thanks. The other couple was taking the offer, we said you could have our drink. The manager said no just one drink per person. Would I ever go back? Never. I do not recommend this course at all. Great course, well maintained but to be treated this way after paying $250 for the round? NEVER!
Nice course. Expected a bit more.
I was very excited to play the course. I did find that in places things were a bit beaten down. The greens were nice and consistent.
Predator
We found the Predator side just as enjoyable as the ridge side. Both in excellent shape and challenging but not to hard. The extra you pay to play here is worth it in value. It was easily our best golf experience!
beautiful course
staff great
course great
view amazing
would definitely go back
Amazing course
The nicest golf course I’ve ever played. Difficult but playable. Staff was amazing. Went on holiday as a single. TaylorMade rentals. Worth every penny. Planning to go back before I head back to Ontario
