Nice golf course for every level golfer. Greens are soft and well maintained. Fairways are also soft while roughs are soft and high. Stay on the fairways .

Although it was 104 F outside yesterday, I went out and played 18 and shot great, hot but fun as always. Good course conditions and intermediate greens that move fast.

Played @ 7:00 am on a Friday. Greens were well manicured and very receptive. The fairways were recently mowed and had a lot of cut grass still on course.
The tee boxes were in good condition except for #17 which was
being rebuilt, so #17 played as a par 3 instead of a par 4.
Overall, course was a challenge, very fun and a very good value

Getting to be in better shape. Greens still slow, left longer than normal. The rating and slope has been updated for the changes to the course. Par is now 69 and they have finally been able to open holes 16 and 17 with 16 set up as a par 3 instead of a par 5.

Green Tree is a fun course to play with a very friendly staff and great food. BUT, they need to decide what they are going to do with 16. The score card says it is a short par 4; instead is was a pitch shot par 3. This is after it was a 150 yd par 3 for the past few years. Having three consecutive par 3's near the end of the round is frustrating. Otherwise, a very good value for the money.

The fairways were almost as long as the rough, and the rough wasn't short. Lot's of weeds and the tee boxes had not been mowed a while. The greens were like putting on quick sand. When is the back nine going to be repaired so it may be played as advertised? They were sending people off the back nine when the early birds were already making the turn which led to significant delays on the 10th tee box.
I won't be playing here again for quite some time...

The course conditions were better than I remember. I had a 7:06 tee time and the pro shop didn't open the door until 7. No time to hit warm up bucket. Carts were also not ready. Holes that run along adjacent Leisure Town road have been shortened to par 3s following an accident that was caused by a stray shot. Completely changes the back 9.

The golf course was enjoyable to play. Athough it would have been difficult to find my way around as a first time player the course is spread out and meanders through residential areas and across several public roads, I did play with someone who knew the course and that made it more enjoyable. the course is in excellent shape fairways and rough, I did find the greens were somewhat frustrating as to how slow they played hard to judge putting speed. I chalk it up as a learing experience and will go back.

We were satisfied, but the staff is a little jumpy for us four that were unfamiliar with some of the course rules. A more polite approach would have been better then some shouting-barking we experienced.

The # 16 par 5 was unplayable and turned into an itty bitty Par 3. Seems unexcusable as my fellow golders says it was like that the last time they were there ? This remains a a good deal, but it certainly can be spruced up with some money from the CIty ?

The course was in good shape. The greens were very slow, however. There is not a lot of break in the greens. What you see is what you get. It was windy the day I played and that surely added to the challanges of this course (at least one club). The couse has old-fashioned small greens. There is plenty of water on the course for the wind to blow your ball into. The course is fairly flat and very walkable.

For the $20 GolfNow Hot Deal which included a cart and a small bucket of range balls, this is a great deal. A challanging course without being impossible.

Enjoyed playing this course today. The fairways and greens were in very good condition, the tee areas were a little muddy at times but overall were in decent shape. The sand traps were fairly wet after the rain the day before.

Walking the course is fairly easy, for the most part flat and both nines went out and round through the neighborhood to the West and then back with the 9th and 18th holes ending at the club house. The greens were fairly smooth with minimal bumps, there were some undulating greens, but not typically as much break as what it looks. Overall an enjoyable and relaxing round of golf and experience. Would recommend this course to friends.

Found a great hot deal on a Friday and decided to hit a round of golf. Really nice course. Fairly easy did a a whole round in 3 1/2 hours. Will be back soon.

I get that the course is forced to make a couple holes safer for the traffic traveling down Leisure Town Road. Errant tee shots were hitting cars and one child was injured. However, the courses answer was to completely shut down one hole and drastically shortening another. I've heard of no plans to make this course whole again. They have room to reconfigure a couple holes but they aren't going to spend the money. Nor will they spend any money to put up a fence to keep the errant balls from flying into the road. The greens are slow, the traps are too narrow, and the rough is unmanageable in the winter. Overall, this is a real bad deal at $44.

Flat course, not to short or long. Enough water and trees to keep you honest. The tee boxes upgraded over a coule years ago. Everything is green for it being last of summer. Nice fairways and the rough isn't to tall. Greens in decent shape, not real fast and only a couple greens with bad spots. # 16 closed - no net by road. We played a couple extra holes after the 17. But your not paying big money to play here. Good value

I really enjoyed my afternoon at Green Tree. Played as a single and played two balls and never caught up to the group in front of me and never saw the group behind me after the 2nd hole. Played in less than three hours and had a great time. The greens were very receptive to approach shots which is always fun as the ball stayed pretty much right where it landed all day. Did have to repair extra ball marks on the green as not everyone was considerate fixing theirs but I had lots of time. Someone earlier in the day was dragging their feet on the greens as there were lots of dragging spike marks around the hole but could be tapped down. Guys is Pro Shop were very nice. Did not eat in Snack Bar but it appeared to be pretty busy in there. Would definitely go back and play again.

The problem was mosquitoes kept biting my partner and me, hole 16 was completely closed, so you only play 17 holes. I would not pay the asking price by the golf course. It should be lower, the golf now special was ok!!!

Note, 16th hole on this course is closed and has been for at least 4 - 5 months (according to staff). No ETA on when that hole will reopen. Overall enjoyable round noting however the greens took significant damage when they were hit on approach. Greens were over watered and they could use a healthy injection of sand to help them drain.

The people at the course are so nice an friendly. We had a great time playing. The time of play was very good. The greens are in great condition
