Course was in great shape with the weather cool, with little wind. No insects troubled us during our round which is important in Manitoba in the summer. Fairways are fairly long pasture grass. Rough was fairly thick but only a couple inches deep and we did lose some balls there. Greens were in good shape for the most part with very few dead patches. We started early and there was no one in front of us after the first hole and no one behind us for most of the round.
severe thunderstorm- no rain check
I was playing golf with my wife and met severe thunderstorm at hole # 6.
I asked the pro shop to get rain check, but they said i have to contact GN.
I cannot fine how to contact GN or clam
Good
Not overly difficult but enjoyable, pace was good, decent condition. A few greens were a bit beat up but overall it was pretty good.
Disappointed
This course used to be better. This year however, the carts are crapp., first round the seat was like a hammock and so uncomfortable. Second round in a different cart I couldn’t pull half my clubs from the bag because the roof was poorly installed to far to the rear.
The biggest problem however is that there is no control on Tee times and rate of play. Many players not following tee time protocols and staff oblivious or ignorant or just don’t care.
Very disappointing. Not likely to golf here for a while

Course was in good shape.
There was a threesome i front of us that thought it was ok to sit at the tee box and have discussions prior to teeing off, so that slowed our round a bit. With no marshal on the course it is hard to rectify those type of situations.
The course has many fun holes
I give it a 5 out of 6 especially during the fall when many others courses are already closed
