I like it
I actually like this course a lot! Play here at least once a year. Who cares about the freeway noise! Please you're not that good! This course is well maintained, greens are always in great shape. The only complaint I have, and it's like most of the other courses. The tee box is uneven and not in the best of shape.
Time to Kill
If you and a friend are looking to donate $40 plus dollars each and have around 6 1/2 hours to kill, Give this course a try. We arrived at 9:15 for a 9:50 tee time. While heading to range we could see the back up on hole 1 that was 8 carts deep. Hit a few balls and got in line at 9:35 and waited, Finally got to tee off at 10:25 and spent the rest of the day waiting extensively at every hole. Several times we thought about leaving but by then our curiousity of having my longest round ever kept us pushing along finally finished at 4:20. Wow!! Tired just thinking about it!
Bad n Bumpy
We played in morning the greens apparently have been recently aerated unbeknownst to me and my group. The moisture the sand makes for a terrible green.Clumping of the sand and holes made for a terrible experience. It would have been nice to be made aware of the greens conditions before play.
Sunday Funday
It's a nice corse very polite staff just a lilttle slow but overall nice corse !!
probably not
No mention of course renovations at golf now website or from the course when called directly. Even at twilight rates $27.99 was too much. Even the starter made no mention of the first 2 greens nearly unplayable due to heavy punching and sanding. And the next several greens completely shut down with flagsticks stuck in the fairways in front of greens. Really ?? Could'nt have mentioned this on website or when I called ??
Fairways aren' t in very good condition either.
Next time I'll take my chances somewhere else.
Nice course, great condition.
I have played this course many times now. Every round I've played has taken 6+ hrs to play. The course/marshal allows groups of 5 back to back. I have even seen walking groups of 5. They don't monitor pace of play so group don't care if the fall behind. This pass round two group of 5 were infront of my brother and I. They never offered to let us play through even though we caught up to them on serval holes. So if you want to play a nice course and don't mind a really long round, book it and have fun...
Is this course going under?
Greens were like playing on a Lego board (bumpy), looks like they hadn't been rolled in weeks.
Aprons/fringes had patches of 2-3 grass/weeds all around the greens. Rough was not cut, fairways were ok. Terrible course conditions. Add in the slow pace of play for a mid week 12:30pm tee time, I wont be back.
Wasn't able to finish our round.
Paid for 18 only finished 13 due to players jumping holes or not paying for a full round but proceeding to play it anyway
Brutally Slow
I enjoyed the course , typical parkland course . Fairways and greens were great. Pace of play was horrendous 3 hrs and 15 mins for 9 couldnt take it any longer started at 10:36 am made the turn at 1:50pm no way to beat daylight at the rate we were going so we left.
Don't golf here on the weekends - Overly Booked
I'm not sure why this golf course has trouble with tee time schedules. Every time I've golfed here on the weekends, the first hole is way to backed up. I had a tee time at 8:44 and didn't tee off until 9:30. They book each tee time 6-8 minutes apart, which is not enough time. I will never play here again on the weekend.
Like the course in general
I booked this course thru golf now and when we got there the greens were recently punched ,felt sorry for ourselves to pay so much and wasting our time.I suggest there should be a alert on golf now site when ever the course is not in good condition or when they punch there greens.
Fun course
Fun course, just a lot of freeway noise
Decent Course for the price
Played here for the first time on Monday morning. We had a very early tee time and it was still a bit dark when we tee'd off, however the course provided light-up balls to use which was nice.
Tee Boxes: These could use some work: not very level, no one fills divots, and had uneven patchy grass.
Greens: Decent greens but very slow and bumpy in spots. My group spent our round repairing pitch marks in our putting lines.
Fairways: This were in very decent condition considering the overall course conditions.
Pros:
-Lighted Balls for expediting pre-sunrise play.
-Fun Course with nice Scenery.
-Thoughtful layout on most holes which caused you to actually make club and layup choices vs just smashing the ball down the fairway.
Cons:
-Slow play
-5somes seemed typical
-Greens and Tee boxes need work
Public course
It is an easy course with wide fairway. Not much tree lines. However, the course will be some what difficult if you tee off from the Blue/black tee box.
Soooo Slow
Why do allow 5-somes who are walking. It was a 6+ hour round.
They also must be running a range ball special as there were no mats available for warming up before play.
Great Staff
One thing that can off-set the shanks and or yips is a friendly staff. Great customer service...oh yeah course was in good shape.
Man, that’s terrible you had to wait so long. I’ve noticed lately that several courses just pile on the golfers, thus ignoring reserved tee times. Where’s the Marshall I always ask? As of the past two weeks, I got so frustrated when I expect to tee of at my RESERVED DESIGNATED tee time, only to see a pile up of golfers that just arrived. I figure now that if the course wants to pile up walk-ons that don’t have a reservation, I’m just going to start on the back-9 instead. Evidentially the Marshall doesn’t enforce the slow people, so I’ll gladly walk over to hole-10 and start there (provided it’s not back up).
