For a Thursday noon tee time the cost was superb and the greens were in great shape. Tricky fast, but great all around.
It has been raining on and off for a couple days, so the fairways had some puddling here and there. The greens are in nice shape. Pace of play was super fast, probably because the possibility of rain. I'm definitely playing there again in the next couple of weeks.
horrible Staff!!!! Backed up every hole
One word GREEDY! course allowed 5 some walkers with fourt some walkers on this big of a course and putting them 15 min behind. every hole was backed up. took 4 hrs to play front nine. we complained at pro shop to staff after front nine, and they didnt care. marshall was very rude. Such Anice course for such rude employees and alowing the huge back up. will never go back to diamond bar golf course again. this was on a Wed. morning too.could only imagine how the weekend would be.
Overall good course, management could use some work though
The course itself was really fun. Pretty long par 72, nice wide fairways in decent shape. Quite a few bunkers here and there, and you hit over a large lake on the 9th. Not overly difficult.
But the management... Apparently the pro shop guy had some trouble with the computer. Took us a good half hour to get checked in, had a fivesome walking in front of us. In general, just lots if slow groups all around. Looked overbooked, and the marsha kept asking us to pick up the pace, despite having to wait at almost every hole.
Started at noon and ran out of light on the 15th hole (still waiting for a group in front). Only paid $21 riding so still not bad. Wouldn't pay more than $30, and I would try to get an earlier time. Try and get there early and expect to wait.
Best bang for your buck in Los Angeles area
Greens were of a quality that I have seen at 80-100 dollar courses. Excellent scenery, great length (6,800 yards) nice challenging course. For 40 dollars on a weekend, it honestly can't be beat.
The diamond bar course is decent. The condition of course is well maintained.
It has quite a few challeging courses such as a uphill par 3 course and a green between right-left bunkers. The pace was a little slow, but it was not too bad. Hopefully, we will play here, again.
Open feel with a few challenging holes
Played on a Saturday afternoon and the pace of play was good. Although next to the freeway, it feels preety wide open. Par 3 hitting over water and up to an elevated green was fun (got an opportunity to congratulate a newlywed couple takiing photos by the water). Several doglegs challenge you to draw and fade the ball, but with enough room to work. A few rough patches in some fairways and freeway noise...other than that, very enjoyable.
Not bad to enjoy twilight game even in summer
Walking 5 some group needs to speed up for the riding group
Good condition
The course is in good condition, sometimes you run into groups just starting on the back nine.
harder than you think
this course seems like one of those courses that you can shoot low cause it's a flat course and misdrives can be hit from the other fairways. However, this course is long. 3 out of 4 par 3's are long. for some reason, this course always seems to get the better of me, which has me coming back over and over again. I want to conquer this course.
watch out for the walking fivesome on this course though. happens 1 out of 2 times. 5.5 hour rounds happen pretty often.
