Enjoyable round with greens being in mint condition and extremely fast . Fairways for the most part were good but a lot of hard packed areas.
All in all a great day of golf.
Course condition
The greens were in great shape and the course was in very good condition overall. The staff is very accommodating and friendly.
Great value
I really enjoyed this course. It was a little short but that made me feel good about my game for once. I also found the ground very hard - my ball rolled forever here, which again made me feel good. I drove within 10 yards of the green on 2 different par 4s.
Fun course and close enough to the city. Staff in the clubhouse were very friendly, too. Will definitely be back.
Sandy Hook - nice track!
Played Sandy Hook with the wife - and she loved it! The “forward” tees are moved up - so that the ladies have a better chance of making a few pats! On the flip side - there were no Blue tees for the Men - only the white tees. I found the course a bit short. Conditions were great - and pace of play was 3 1/2 hours. Awesome. Pro shop guy was great .

What a gem of a golf course! Love the layout! Seems at a glance that its enviting and less challenging than it actually is. The fairways are very nice and the abundance of trees command attention on every hole. Couldn't have asked for better kept greens on my two visits recently.
Great course, love coming here, but...
Been here 4 times this year. Enjoy it everytime, but I'm wonder why there's never a sprinkler going on those rock hard fairways...lol. I mean I love how my ball bounces extra 20 yards, but the vibration through my clubs hurt. Greens are beautiful as always.

Great course
Was only able to enjoy 5 holes before it started to rain, but would definitely go back.
Greens were excellent, fairways allow for a bit of wandering, but requires good shoots

The course is pretty dry so taking divots can be a little painful. I was also getting an extra 30-50 yds on my drives so that was helpful. I eagled 16 by reaching it in two, which is rare for me. This speaks to the hardness of the fairways but whatever, eagles feel good!
Good Round
Clubhouse was well organized for Covid 19 restrictions. Pace of play was good. Round took just under 3.5 hours. Greens were in very good condition. Fairways were in good condition. These factors combined with a sunny warm day made it great to get out for a game.
