Just 7 miles west of downtown Riverside, Paradise Knolls Golf Club tee times will open the door to an 18-hole, par 72, course that plays 6,281 yards from the back tees, and has a slope rating of 117. Designed by Bill Wood, and opened in 1964, the course uses a combination of tree-lined fairways and greenside bunkers to create a fun, and challenging day of golf. The signature hole at Paradise Knolls is the par 3, 12th hole, which plays 230 yards from the tips, and has a green, which slopes front to back, and left to right. There is also one small lake on the course, which sits greenside of the short par 4, 5th hole. The hole plays 275 yards from the back tees, enticing players to try to drive the green, which does have a small opening between the water and a front left bunker.
Many players have made good use of their Riverside golf deals at Paradise Knolls and in addition to the great golf enjoyed their instructional programs, run by PGA Professional staff, the large practice putting green, and their 2,500 sq. ft. clubhouse, which can accommodate up to 150 guests for banquets, tournaments, and weddings. Comments from others following their Riverside tee times paints a nice picture of their experiences at Paradise Knolls Golf Club, finding the course fun and enjoyable.

Best course in the area
Course it's in excellent condition can't wait to go back
A good deal gone bad
First of all we had to wait 45 min. for a cart. This course constantly over books. We finally got our cart and started to play. Of course there was no one in front of us since we waited 45 min. for the cart.
However, once we caught up to the crowd it was wait, wait, wait. We finally gave up after the 11th hole. The next par 3 had 2 foursomes waiting to tee off then we joined the wait. Make that 3 groups waiting to tee off. We just decided to drive in and go home.
Great rate
A good rate for a great round of golf. Fairways and greens are well maintained. The pro shop staff was friendly and kind. Good selection of golf items and accessories . Bar/kitchen staff we’re very accommodating and friendly. Good blt and fries. Decent happy hour prices. Will definitely return for another round.
Greens Too Fast!
Course fairways were good, but the greens were way too fast! Some of they’re boxes were a little bare. Overall the course was enjoyable, and the staff was friendly.
Small bumpy greens
Small, recently spiked greens made it tough to score. Lots of balls straying into adjacent holes.
Good for hitting a ball about for a reasonable price, but not going to rush back.
Greens almost PGA tournament fast
The greens are very well maintained. Fast and tricky.
Great local golf course at a sensible price
I always enjoy this course, and the great price they offer.
Windy Winter Conditions
Great to revisit Paradise Knolls after so many years. No place to warn up on a cool windy morning, but the greens were fantastics
Good play for the price
Had a good day. Greens were in good shape and fairways were nice. Definitely going to go back
His affordable course.
Greens are being kept up nicely. Fairways are showing that's it is winter here. Overall a good value.
Marshalls or Ambassadors are so important
My review of the course is simple. Nice people very much and up and down type course. Good condition. Nothing special but a good value.
They did not have a marshall or Ambassador out on the Thursday I was there. The two men in front of me on hole 6 decided they needed to take an extra 6 to 10 practice putts each. While I stood waiting about 125 off the green standing by my cart. I was looking at them and waiving from time to time. They ignored me. Behind me starts backing up. Finally they moved on.
I was frustrated so I chose to just bypass hole 7 a par 3 and go straight to hole 8 where I hit my Tee shot. I did not see the need to ask their permission to play threw or explain as I knew they were not nice guys and it would end up in a confrontation.
The two men then came at me in their cart using very foul language (Yes Very Foul) and telling me they were going to hit into me and how out of line I was and how did I dare play in front of them?
I kept my cool and advised them that I have left others laying on their back sides for less. I advised them they should refrain from further conversation and that I would rather go home then go to jail. I packed it in and left without letting it escalate. They were so lucky I was using my common sense as I am 6'4 240lbs a vet and could have hurt them.
Stopped at the pro shop and advised them of the issue and advised who they were. Thanked them and went home for the day.
Golf is fun and Golf Etiquette is an important part of the game. For those that ruin our day we should have a way to report them and have them removed for un-sportsman like conduct. Or we can just kick their hind ends. lol
Very Slow Golf
This was the fourth round I played during this Christmas vacation, and it was by far the slowest round I played. This is a very short course barely over 6000 and it took 4 1/2 hours to play this very short course and there was no Marshall insight. The tea boxes were very rough but the greens were actually quite nice.
it's a good one
this is one of the good ones , play can be slow, the greens are a little testy on some holes, but you probably won't lose many balls.
It’s an affordable round but...
The pace is so slowwww...the staff should start pairing 2somes with other 2somes and singles with a group, but instead they just let people tee off without coordination. Also, there’s no Marshall around, when u have a group 2 holes behind the other group, that’s a problem.
Too slow
Played on a Saturday and the course was in good shape. The greens were fast and in very good shape. The only problem was the pace of play. Took us 3 hours to play 9 holes.
We played #10 and saw that 11 had 2 groups on it, so we just left.
They've done this before, over book the course. They need a marshal to speed up play or not book so many.
Good for the price
Course is getting in better shape. Hole number 11 needs to be updated to a par 4!
everything good EXCEPT lunch
9.00 $ forBAD burger and small bag of doritos! drink not included
Nice short course
Played the back nine only but was impressed with the course. Fairways are meh, but the layout and greens are quite nice. Would definitely play here again.
Paradise Knolls - 11/15/17
Perfect weather - 77 degrees and sunny. Course was in excellent condition. Greens were faster than most courses I play. Enjoyable day for golf.
