An easy course with some small greens that don't bite.
This is the course that I have played the most in my life. It's fairly easy but has greens that often don't bite. It's not unusual to hit a wedge shot and have it bounce off the green. Some greens are small and elevated, making short chips onto them tricky. If you can hit greens in regulation, then this course will allow you to score very well. I usually don't lose any balls here, but that's because i know where I can take chances and where I shouldn't. When it's windy, for me, there are holes where it's tough to keep the ball from sailing into the bush. It's a par 70 with two par 5s on the front and none on the back. Located across from Assiniboine Park in the Tuxedo neighborhood, this is one of Winnipeg's most popular courses. if you buy hole punch game cards at the beginning of the season, you can get 10 games for the price of 9 and, if you buy early enough, get a card for one free game. That's 11 games for the price of 9, making this one of, if not the best deal for golf in Winnipeg. For men, the slope rating is 113.
