Winter Golf
We were excited to finally get out of the house and do some outdoor safe activities in our area. We booked this course because of the availability of a nearby hotel where we were going to stay. The tee time started out great however on the 8th hole we were approached by the staff and told to either speed up our play, let the people in back of us play through, or leave. He didn’t bother to ask if we were experiencing any delays ourselves; he just automatically thought that our play was slow when in fact we were having to wait for the players in front of us. In order to play safely we had to wait until they cleared the fairway and that would sometimes take a little longer than usual. We did not appreciate the attitude of this man especially since we had traveled from Tx to come to play. Golf etiquette not only includes the pace of play but also the safety of play; because this is a links course you lose visibility of the players ahead of you so therefore you must wait to insure that they have safely cleared the fairway before you tee off. He should realize that!!!!

A fun course to play for an enjoyable non-stressful round. The course is nicely laid out, the scenery is great, nice staff and such a convenient location!

The Links, best in area.
The Links is my favorite course to play in the area. The golf course is always in good shape; the fairways are well maintained and the greens are all outstanding. The driving range is decent. The staff strives to make sure you’re always hitting off a good piece of turf by moving the hitting area frequently. The snack bar is closed, but you can buy beverages from the front desk and the cart girl gets around the course frequently. We generally play in less than 4 hours and will see her at least 5 times. My last comment is about the staff. These people are the nicest people I have ever encountered on a golf course. They go out of their way to please. This includes the pro shop staff, the marshals, and the guys in the cart barn. You will definitely have a good time here.

Won't go back
We have never encountered a golf course so poorly laid out or maintained. ..and over-priced. Obviously the designers thought that a huge number of similar sized mounds would create a quality course. They were wrong and the only result is that the course does not play like any other. To find oneself on some slope of one of those numerous mounds creates a too difficult play all around the course. Add to that that the course was poorly maintained and affected with weeds and wild grasses, plus the cart paths broken and with potholes,, plus the carts undercharged, plus the next holes poorly marked... We will never return.

Nice Course...Poor Marshalling
Great course and friendly staff. Four hours, forty five minutes to play a round due to fives-somes being allowed to slow pace of play.
Course Marshall was present but did nothing to move along pace of play allowing a five-some of loud drunks to slow up multiple groups behind them.
I would exspect this nonsense at a poorly kept public course but not here.

Bad start, good round
Golf shop personal very nice and helpful
Starter Marshall very rude wasn’t paying attention to the incoming play and decided to yell at us, for not stopping when he was too busy to even look at us.(unknown what he was doing to ignore us. He handle the situation very wrong and continued to belittle us with his tone!
Did not start well with the experience for my brothers and my son for their first time in the course. They were ready to leave at the number one tee box. Talked them down and we played the course.
Course in decent shape, flow of play was good.
Unfortunately this is one of two public course we can play and so no choice if we want to play it is this one because it is in better shape. As long as we don’t start with the starter Marshall again.
