Greenwood Golf Club

Course wa in good condition, some tees and greens. were a little rough.
Course was not very busy and after letting a twosome and a single by us after the front nine, we didn't see a sole on the back nine.

Rumour has it that the course is closing after this season. That would be a real shame. The course is not long, but is it challenging and placing your tee shots is very important. If they do close this course, over 60 years old, it would be a real loss.

Clubhouse is excellent in appearance, cleanliness and staff are courteous,knowledgable and helpful.
Great atmosphere, a place to return to time and time again.

as always the course was in good shape even after three days of rain. Staff were excellent as always.

This course may be in its last year of operation, which is a real shame. It has an interesting layout with small greens for the most part. There are some challenging holes (16 comes to mind) but there are some birdie opportunities also. Really enjoy playing here.

great course, greens were in great shape, not a lot of water hazards, good compliment of wide and narrow fairways. some long par 3s & 4s. club house is very nice. I was in Greenwood for a week and played this course 7 times, great value for the cost.

This course is a great value for your money.

Golfed Greenwood for the first time and was so pleased with our golfing experience. We were greeted with a smile and welcome demeanor. We found everything ready for us and went on time if not sooner. Course was I great shape for our drought. A fun course with challenging blind greens to forgiving fairways. Greens were excellent and fun to read. We'll be back. Thank you Greenwood golf club!

Just played Greenwood for the first time. What a hidden gem, with all the hot weather the course with its' green and fairways was in great shape! The staff was so welcoming and friendly and our reservation was flawless. We found ourselves not rushed as it was not busy mid afternoon. A nice breeze added to a wonderful sunny day. Our golf cart worked great and getting ussed to feathering the gas peddle was easy and quick. A couple blind greens made the course challenging as newcomers. Overall a great day of golf! First time playing this course. Some dry spots, but we're in the middle of a drought. Some narrow fairways and enough hazards to challenge but not frustrate the average golfer. Excellent, friendly, staff and great kitchen.
Will definitely be back.

Greenwood Golf Course is a very nice course to play. It was in great shape even with the lack of rain this summer. Greens were fast and in great shape. Club house is nice and staff very pleasant. Wish I lived closer so I could play it more.

Played the course with another couple. There are quite a few doglegs, so being in the correct position for your second shot is important to score well. The course was generally in good shape. The greens were fast and rolled well, although many tricky pin placements. I wouldn't hesitate to play the course again and would recommend it, especially for the price.

course was nice and dry however the cart we had almost broke my neck whenever we had to start up .

Small and fairly quick greens (rolled true) were the best part of this track. The day I played it blew a gale which im pretty sure shouldnt be a reason to avoid cutting was passes for fairways( not good).

They have worked hard and improved the course conditions from last year. Greens are in very good shape, soft but roll true.
Round was great until the back - got caught behind a single foursome that wouldn't allow us to play through. Made for a 3 hour back nine. A Marshall could defiantly be recommended to improve pace of play on the weekend.
Challenging course, great shape - but slow on this day for no reason, as no groups were in site ahead of this foursome.

greens looked like noone that plays there respects them

I played Greenwood for the first time after seeing a late Friday afternoon deal that was too good to pass up. To be honest, I was not expecting much given the price, but I was pleasantly surprised.

On the surface, the course doesn't look like much but once I got out there and started playing it, I really enjoyed it. I found the course to be in pretty good shape given the dry weather we've had, most of the greens rolled fairly consistently and fairly, and some holes proved challenging without well-placed shots off the tee.

Pace of play was fantastic. I arrived early for my tee time but with nobody on the tee for several groups, I was allowed to play away. I caught up with one twosome around #7 who graciously allowed me to play through, and I was done 18 holes in well under 3 hours even after catching up to a few other groups on the back and things slowing down slightly.

The staff was friendly and welcoming.
