Rarity Bay Golf & Country Club

Course was pretty nice, except for the bunkers. Bunkers were hard as concrete, and need sand & attention. Club house personnel were not very friendly, and lacked service. Not drink cart service either.

Pros: Nice golf course to play in. Good view
Cons: Slow pace of playing during the weekend. many OBs. Not many water containers

First time playing the course this year, and it is in fabulous shape. Tees, fairways, and greens are all immaculate. The course was wet as it rained off and on that day, but not much standing water.

I can't wait to get back and get revenge on the course. Staff was great, price was better, and the course was add immaculate as the houses and setting.

A great value for the price, you couldn't ask for better course conditions and amenities. Rarity Bay provides the features and service excellence of a private club. You haven't experienced all the best golf that East Tennessee offers until you try Rarity Bay.

This course is outstanding in its layout and play. The course is well maintained. Greens were a little slow but true. I would play this course anytime in the area.

Copperhead snake in the fountain to no ones concern. Must be a common thing at that course. It was large enough to kill a small child, no concern this was at the club house. Thank course was great

Driving range, Putting area, Pitching areas get you ready for the course.Greens full and soft. Rained off and on and winds were brisk. Will be back.

Greens in great shape. Fairways still need Bermuda to fill in from winter. Enjoyable course to play with large variety of holes.

For the money, it's hard to beat. Beautiful scenery.

Course is greening up nice. only complaint is that greens were very bumpy from the airiation done in March! they need to be rolled.

Greens were bumpy since they had aerated them recently, so the putting was questionable. Fairways were in good condition and the weather was great which made it a good outing.

In Great shape for the season. Greens need about another week and they will be perfect. Fairways starting to grow after dormant. Exellent all around golf course just a bit pricey for average area rates.

This is the first community golf course that I have played where it seems the course layout took precedence over the housing development. I cannot imagine a better hole to hole layout on this particular piece of land. The entire golf course from the clubhouse to the driving range and putting green seem to always be in excellent condition. The tee box placements in particular are excellent. The back tees provide a decent test while the white tees allow the high handicappers a chance to shoot a better score than usual for this nice of a course. The regular green fees are a decent value. If you can find this course on the hot list, go ahead and book it, as a better bargain does not exist.

This was my second time playing this course, both of which have been this winter. I am excited to play the course when there's warmer weather and greener fairways. The greens have been in great shape considering the cold weather. Both times we have played here we have received excellent customer service from the gentleman in the pro shop. He is always very courteous and professional. I look forward to playing the course again.

Beautiful day but recent rain made play somewhat difficult. Sand bunkers need work especially.

Paid $31 for this round on Golfnow. Great rate for this course. Not many players on this day so we played 27 holes in about 5.5 hours. Greens were great, quick and rolled true. Fairways were dormant but in great shape. Clubhouse didn't have much in lunch options for a Saturday and being a community type course. All in all, a great round.

We had a great time. The clubhouse and putting greens were comparable to some country clubs. A beautiful course in a very picturesque area.
