Rarity Bay Golf & Country Club

November meant brown fairways, but they were excellent quality and playable. Greens were to my liking. A little slower than what I play regularly, but I like that, and they were perfect and true rolling. The 4 of us agreed it was VERY enjoyable all round.

One of the nicer courses we have played in the area. A great bargain when booked through Golf Now.

Great layout, fantastic fall views this week. Bermuda going dormant but greens are still in good shape.

This course can be depended upon for a good day all around. You will have to pay attention and put your ball in the right spots. If you're "on" and want to challenge it, birdies are out there. Excellent greens - even when recovering from aerating. The staff is very friendly and the course is very well maintained. What more could you ask...

We played on a cold day, the course is open so the cutting wind was tough....but, the course was in super good condition. Great tees for seniors, moderately long, well manicured, greens were excellent and rolled true. It was a while since I last played but plan on playing it again soon. We got a great rate at mid-day of $23 plus about $4 fees came out to $27, Regular rates for seniors are $36 and $33 after 2:00. So we got a tremendous value on a great course!

Playing in October the course was in great shape and with the roughs cut low the pace of play was pretty quick. No balls were lost that were in bounds. We were actually on pace for a laugh in fast round under 4 hours when we caught the groups in front of us on the back 9. If the roughs we're cut long this course could easily become an unforgiving animal. Using GolfNow brought the price from the extravagant occasional course back to a reasonable price. Great golf value and a beautiful course overall!

The course was in great condition. Each hole had a different layout, and the greens were perfect. You couldn't ask for a prettier setting for a golf course.

Our foursome traveled from Chattanooga ( 75 miles away) to play the course. We found the club house facilities to be excellent. We were made to feel both welcome and special by everyone on staff we came into contact with from the time we arrived at bag drop to leaving the club. Wonderful grill room for lunch with great food at very reasonable prices. The course was challenging and fair. The layout is suited for high to low handicap golfer. Spectacular views on almost every hole. We will definitely return to Rarity Bay Golf Club.

Placement of shots make for a better round, one can easily be
distracted by the beauty of the course and surrounding area.
Stall extremely friendly and helpful. A great round enjoyed by the
wife and I.

I have played this course quite a few times and it is one of my favorites.

Great course and great location. A little out of the way for me but well worth the trip. Greens were being airated so not sure how they are under normal conditions. Would like to see the fairways a little shorter, though being longer makes hitting the ball a little easier.

Rarity Bay is a bargain compared to similar area courses. The layout offers plenty of scenic views of the lake and course is always maintained to the same level as much higher priced courses in the greater Knoxville area. Its a fair test of golf that is not overly difficult. Highly recommended.

Well maintained; some blind shots; greens were elevated and somewhat difficult; fun course

Rarity Bay ( open to public) is a "country club" conditioned 18 hole course. It features generous fairways, raked bunkers, and large manicured quick greens. Rough is moderate; still able to advance ball without extreme difficulty. Overall, a true "GEM" to play.

Probably my favorite course in this area. The course is superbly maintained with excellent greens and fairways.

Pace of play was good. The views around the course are great. the greens are true. You can spray the ball, but the Bermuda rough can be an issue if you stray off the fairway. Overall a good test.

Back nine was being worked on. Greens rolled and some fairways dug up a bit. But I do like this course. Always enjoyed playing it.

I've played this course many times with the course being in very good condition almost every time I've played. It has some challenge depending on the tee you play. I played "white" tees so it might be a little short for the long hitters from there. You should definitely give this course a try if you haven't played it.

You will be very happy that you played this course. Rarity Bay is set in a beautiful lake area with plenty of pretty holes. A
course that offers a variety of degree of difficulty holes. An honest course that is no ticked up. What you see is what you get. A superior course with friendly attentive personnel. Super bar and grill.
