Acton Golf Club

It took us 4 hrs 45 mins to complete our round. Our tee time was booked for 3:18pm as a twosome, but we joined up with a twosome that was scheduled to tee off at around 3:30pm as the course was slightly behind. We teed off just before 3:25pm.

The front 9 was a little slow but manageable. When we made the turn, two groups had move ahead of a foursome that we were stuck behind. This foursome was considerably slow and taking multiple shots as groups lined up behind them. I made 8 to 10 phone calls to the club house to inform them of this with no answer. During those attempts 3 voicemails were left and no calls were returned. We ended up finishing our round sometime around 8:10pm while multiple groups behind us either quit early, or skipped a couple holes to avoid this group.

At this time, i have no desire at returning to this course.

When we showed up after booking through Golf Now we were charged an extra $30. When I complained they told me to take it up with Golf Now. The course is marshy. Fairways are tight. There were weeds growing in the bunkers. The greens were very small. The price seemed reasonable until they charged us extra on site. Is that allowed? Staff was nice. Wouldn't return.

Nothing special. Nice little place to play to work on some irons. Short course, tight greens. Good value for money.

Course conditions were far better than a couple years ago. Food advertised on sign wasn’t available (hot food) but tuna sandwich was great. Very slow play, but we expected it to be busy. Waiting every hole. Staff was extremely friendly.

Slow slow slow. People in front and behind us. Marshall asked us to let the party behind play through even though we were waiting for the party in front. The whole day was like this.

Course was fine and fair price to play. However, the slowness nearly ruined the experience. Can’t say I’ll be back any time soon. Tee times were 9 minutes apart and we just got going from COVID. What gives?

This was my first round of golf this year and my first ever round of golf with COVID-19 safety controls in effect.
The staff had disinfected all handcarts and carts. They were firm and clear about course expectations and all went exceptionally well.
The only disappointment was with some other patrons who discarded ball sleeves and beer cans into the trees and ponds. It was evident that work had be put into course preparation , with new wooden bridges and drainage works in place where needed.

First time playing this location. Beautiful with a good layout for all skill ranges. Unfortunately most of the fairways were completely soaked. On the third hole staff were pumping water out of a near by pond onto the fairway. Over all a great golf course and a great morning of play. Dryer course conditions would have made it a perfect day.

Great course for the price with cart. Have gone twice so far and will return again.

Everyone loves a good fall round, but as we all know there is nothing worse than the fallen leaves everywhere disguising your balls and knocking your perfect line on a birdie/bogey putt. We did not find that problem at acton, perfectly maintained, great staff, and a lovely course. Nice big fairways, good mix of par 3’s, 4’s, and 5’s with some nice angulations on the green! Will be back 100%!

We always enjoy playing this course. Great way to spend the Thanksgiving weekend together as a family on the course. Really great accommodating staff and the course is well kept each time we are there.

Was not busy at all which made for a great day. Easy to walk course. Sand traps are a mess small greens but great value for your buck. Love going here with family.

First time we played this course. A bit out of the way from Mississauga, but worth the drive. Holes are mostly straight forward but some of the Par 3 are challenging. Especially one par 3 with a tall tree in the middle of the fairway. Great course to practice your iron shots.

Like this course very much.....the greens were good and the pace of play was fine...

Paid for 18 and a cart. Was told we couldn’t use a cart because we’ll never get 18 in anyways. Told them I already booked it and made them give us the cart. Got 18 in fine. Course was in TERRIBLE condition. Cart was broken and barely ran.

bunkers are in need of major overhaul. Tee boxes in need of overhaul

I like playing Acton for a fair price and pace of play!. Tee blocks could be in better shape along with the sand traps. Will go back soon!
