Great value
While the course is dealing with some issues across several of their greens, some of them due to circumstances outside their control, the course is otherwise excellent value at under $30 for 18 holes. I finished my round in 2 hours and 15 minutes which is the quickest I’ve ever played 18 holes. Worth a try during the week if you’re looking to get a cheap and quick round in.
Terrible conditions
How do you lose a ball in the fairway play Annandale. Fairway grass not greens is 2-3”in some spots. Plus the brown dead grass they cut the week before lining the fairways. Grounds keepers no etiquette on golf play. Very 1st green grounds keeper doing figure 8’s with tractor type lawnmower/hard hat and eat phones. Seriously the 1st hole and he has to be told to park in the shade-turn off your machine and wait till we’re done putting. Unbelievable !!! 14 holes later head of grounds crew passes by. “Hey buddy do you always cut the greens when a group is trying to put. His response to me is Oh your the guy. Hard hat and ear phones rats me out to his boss. Didn’t have to swear at my guy. I simply said to hard hat and ear phones are you Fn serious right now 1st hole go park it and turn it off golf etiquette. Place is a farmer’s field never again
Poor condition. Lots of creeks
The staff was very friendly and so were the fellow golfers. The poor review is based on conditions and layout. The greens were in absolutely horrible condition, so much so that 3 or 4 of them were shut down for repair. The course itself also wasn’t my favourite. Lots of creeks run through it so there are many places to lose your ball if you’re a beginner. Personally, I would pay more for better quality.
Worst course I have played.
Greens were sandy dirt patches, rough hadn’t been mowed in weeks. Fairways looked like a rough at a standard local course. 2 greens were unplayable because of motorcycle damage. Fountains were turned on around some greens mid day and made the surrounding fringe unplayable. Cart girl didn’t come by from 7th hole to 18th. Snackbar only had 2 beers available left to sell at the turn. Do not come here.
Terrible shape
This course was in the worst shape of any we have played all year. The fairways were virtually non existent and the greens were a disgrace. On top of that the "greens keeper" was on many of the greens while we were playing and wouldn't move. This slowed the pace of play for everyone. We will never play here again. Save your money there are many nice courses in Durham region.

Course conditions are improving. The greens are slow and they are being worked on but overall - great value for money!
Brutal.
The layout has potential, but the quality of the course is very poorly kept. Terrible greens, rough was ridiculously long and not tidy.

Great course to get introduced into golfing
We loved Annadale golf course!!
I went there for a round of 9 holes with my wife and daughter and first of all we were treated so well by the staff, I cant thank them enough!!
Made us feel welcome, gave us a great deal so my family could come along with me, etc.
It also helps that the course has a driving range.
We will definitely will be back often!!
A slow death
They have let this course go. There aren’t any greens and nit much difference between the ruff and the fairway. Unfortunate because the land it sits on would make for a beautiful course.

Nice course idea, but very very poor greens, Hole 7 the green was moved to the fairway forcing us to PUTT on the fairway. I found that everyone was waiting for everyone, i was waiting for the people in front of me and they were waiting for people in front of them, and people behind me were waiting too. better off going to Carruthers creek or Lyndebrook
Not great!!
Played here 10 years ago, was great, not so much anymore. Greens uncut full of ant hills. Some greens didn't even exist. Fairways uncut. Overall very disappointing. I assume that when the casino purchases this course the conditions will vastly improve.
If you like to putt, don’t bother going. This place should be closed.
I’ve played here probably 100 times over the past 3 years, the course has NEVER been in worse shape than it is now. Not a single green was playable. We payed an egregious 56$ to play here. At that price, it’s the absolute worst course in Durham for value.
Great course for your money's worth
Always have enjoyed playing this course since it is challenging. The course is looking a lot better and they just opened up the back 9 so it is 18 holes again. Can't wait to come back to play 18
