Good Course
I love the layout of the course. It’s a good challenge.
Staff was amazing on and off course. Would definitely play again.
Let’s get out and support our community. The support will help with the uplifting of this course. Cheers
Small course. Lay out is confusing.
We did the 9 holes. Other players often hit the balls into our course. Lots of zigzagging. No Maintenace probably due to Covid.
Subpar golf course
The course is poorly marked and the grounds were in rough shape. I will not be returning.
Horrible experience
We went to this course last summer and enjoyed it. This summer it was such a huge disappointment. The course looked like it hadn’t been maintained, and was quite honestly unplayable. My partner and I left after the first hole. We requested a refund, however we’re told “no refunds”. We decided we’d rather pay $60 to not play there then continue playing. Wouldn’t recommend.
The Golf course shouldn't be open
the Golf course is in very bad conditions it shouldn't be open it is not playable.
I will never go back there again
It was the worse course that I played, the fairway are not cut, I lost 3 balls on the fairway, the course, should not be open because it is not playable, not ready for play.
Needs a lot of work
Found the deal on golfnow the night before I played $12.00 for 9 holes. The course was in terrible shape as it must have been open for a couple of days. The course must not have been taken care of for the whole year since covid happened. While the course is in bad shape it appears that the new management is trying to get it up and running. I wish them well and hope they succeed. The staff was friendly, honest and engaging about the course conditions.
Overall for $12.00 it was cheaper than most driving ranges.
Would only recommend to beginning golfers and $15.00 maximum rate until course conditions have improved.
Cheers
Total not to good all of them ,green, fair way . they are using only front 9 hall , not cut grass on some courses.
Absolutely Brutal
Even if you hit your straight down the fairway, good luck trying to find it in the 4 inches of grass and cuttings
Nice layout but needs a lot of work
I played this course several years ago and it was okay at that time. However the course need a lot of work now because it was not kept to standards. I drove my first short to the right of the fairway but I could not find my ball when I got there. Several people I played with had the same problem. I see them cutting the grass but it was left longer and the cut grass was all over. I saw the most recent review and I thought he was exaggerating but it was true. I hope the current folks who own it now do a better job than what it is now. It a shame
Horrible conditions
This was my first time playing this course the fairways the length was rough length and the greens where are Fairway length. None of the holes are clearly marked so you don't know where you're playing you're guessing as to where the hole is. And the worst part is they don't clean the trim grass off the playing surface I lost more balls hitting it on The Fairway because I couldn't find them afterwards. The staff at the course we're really nice.
Course Should be Closed For the Season
This poor excuse for a golf course is a joke and the man running it is a con artist who is stealing money from people. The grass is so long that you lose you ball in the "fairway" expect to go through about 20 balls. The greens are either uncut, unfinished, or nonexistent. No tee boxes, flags, or any kind of golf infrastructure on some holes. Avoid this place entirely.
Third World Country
Played on (Grand) Reopening Day in Ontario Golf. The course was definitely NOT ready to play. Cut and Uncut grass all over, Ruffs were more like a jungle. No Green at Hole #2 but a stick in the ground.
Make sure you have ample back up balls since you can expect to lose a half dozen even if you hit on to the Fairways!
If you haven't played here previously, get a map or GPS to guide you. Otherwise, this is a course you wish the Marshall drives by so you can exhale your frustrations from everything non-Golf related.
The proprietor should PAY YOU to play here!
Don't expect Pebble Beach
My wife and I played this course half a dozen times this year and we don't understand the bad reviews we've read. This is a surprisingly challenging course with the four significantly elevated T's and the water hazards IE River that are in play on several holes.
File the greens were not in the best shape we've seen, they were consistent. We always try to tee off first thing in the morning so pace of play is not an issue and we usually finish the 18 in 3 and 1/2 hours.
After 2020 this course is going to become part of the casino resort and I am disappointed that I won't be playing it again. It was a lot of fun and it did offer some good challenges for me. I always play the blue tees and I was able to break 80 twice this year.
