Good for a quick 9 holes
A nice course with a good mix of short and long holes. Greens can be a bit dry and hard at times in later summer. First hole is one of the longest and you're doing well if you make par. Only drawback is that you are hitting very close to homes on the 6th and 7th holes. Some golfers ignore the no alcohol rule and can be obnoxious when playing behind you. The warden needs to be more watchful. Staff is friendly though.
Riverside Golf
Overall very nice course. We tee'd off at 7:30 am and the sun was shining of the long par 5 fairways to start off our day. Everything went very well on the front nine until we came back around. Course being only a 9 hole course we ran into about six 4 sums at the first tee box all older and walking. While waiting we than ran into trouble of them saying we only paid for 9 through golf now. Now normally golf now will say if your only playing 9 and this did not say that so I assumed it was 18. So they were telling us it was only nine, luckily they let us play so the guy who helped us was great about it the other women not so much. Overall though great course very nice if playing 9 but 18 be prepared for a slow back 9!
GREAT 9 HOLE CHAMPIONSHIP COURSE
Personally love playing this 9 hole course. Probably because I live next to it, but really, long par 5s and 4s, truly a great place to practise, since it only takes 1.5 hours at a good pace. Use almost every club in the bag.
