Good Challenge
Second time playing Hoot and enjoyed it even more this time. Course was in excellent shape and greens were fast and true. Plenty of elevation changes on the course and a nice collection of fairways where you could try to bomb it off the tee or place your drives with target golf tee shots. A very good parkland course with plenty of trees to separate you from other player on other holes.
Pace of play was good considering a busy day. It's a bit of a drive (slightly over an hour) but worth it a couple of times a year. Looking forward to trying the other 2 courses on the property.
Good Solid Golf Course
Very challenging, but fair golf course. One of the top courses in the Toronto area for sure. It is a little pricey and this limits the amount of use the course gets, which I have always found is great for pace of play and course conditions. Definitely a must-play in and around Toronto.
One of my top spots in Ontario
This is a great course, showed up, paid and was told to go out whenever I was ready, I guess weekdays aren't busy there. There was nothing fancy about the amenities as the focus was solely on golf. Thus helps keep the green fees at a reasonable rate. To the course, the first tee really sets things up for the rest of the day. You really get a wasteland feel, almost felt like the Sandhills of North Carolina. Each hole fed off each other, just a sold selection of holes, there wasn't a true signature. My only issues is that this course does not have a halfway house at the turn, it is understandable as it's a 3 course complex. I wish I had known this as the cart girl passed me on the 9th and and I didn't see her until the 14th. But anyways this course is a must play in Southern Ontario and it won't break the bank
what a great expereince!
played the course for the first time and instantly fell in love. The course condition was just excellent and the pace was as good as it could get. The facility offers different styles of golf, which are interesting and challenging for golfers at all level. My and my buddies decided to make it an annual treat (at minimum) and I can't wait to come back and play another 54 holes in one day!
What a treat...a cannot miss!
This is a great golf course. I lived right next to this place 16 years ago when they had no clubhouse and only 18 holes...wow...what a difference now. The Hoot is a tough course but very fair. The par 5's are reachable but the par 4's are very tough. Fantastic conditions. I wish they offered some help with a GPS or at least a yardage book...the second time was much easier
literally the Cats Pajamas
Best all around course/value/experience!
There is no excuse to not get out and experience this place!
