pathetic reception
The manager needs retraining. Absolutely off handed, rude, non accomodating and curt. He should not be in any customer service position or deal with the public, EVER. Cart girl non existent. No grounds crew working on bunkers/cutting the rough/trimming edges at 10 in the morning? 10 or more pitch marks on every green. I wonder how many staff they have......
Perhaps if someone does not look like him (caucasean), he treats them differently? I noticed he spoke very nicely to the young ladies though......it's amazing how one person can have so many personality faults.
Mystic is Missing Essential Ambiance
No doubt this is a well maintained challenging course.
However, for the fees paid, it appears ownership does not invest in amenities……
Golf carts are old and most I inspected had large rips in the seating.
The clubhouse is a prefabricated building…. the rear patio is run down with dirty plastic chairs and damaged table umbrellas.
No on course Marshall and no beverage cart or stand other than buying from the clubhouse after 9.
The entrance to the course has a long winding roadway that is in need of repair.
If ownership truly wishes to make Mystic into a premier course, they have to reinvest the $$$$ golfers payout.
All the leaves are Brown
Just like the song the leaves were brown and the sky was grey. But that was one of my favourite rounds this year. Fantastic course and in great shape considering the time of year we are in. I am looking forward to playing this g next year.
hidden gold
bring 2 balls this will challenge you and make you think the whole round
Could be so much better.
Arrived at the golf course and was impressed with the size of the property and how well it was maintained for a public course. The entire day all I kept thinking about was how much more could be done to make it (in my opinion) a top golf course in the area. Off-course amenities were abysmal and the staff was grumpy throughout the entire day. Get a good staff, and an updated clubhouse and this would be an easy 5 stars.
Additional thoughts: The score cards should have a hole layout as there are many blind shots. Would have been nice to know where shots should be planned, or if you should be careful of where the group in front of you might be. VERY EASY FIX.
Great Layout!
First time here (and we had the advantage of being paired up with a couple of people who knew the course, so could help us with lines...). Nice layout. Challenging. We'll be back!!
no support from Golf North
I was given a pre-paid golf pass for two valid for this season. Due to an medical condition, I am not able to use them and asked Golf North if the gift passes could be extended into 2021 season. NOPE! No extension on pre-paid passes. They don't care.. Like so many golf courses and course groups, the pandemic has not made them Golf North flexible or understanding, it's just made them greedy.
Great As Usual
Nice sunny comfortable day late October.
A little soggy in some spots due to rain recently.
Amazing, all the leaves were cleaned up !!
Greens were still quick.
Hope to play again before season is over
Course was in great shape
Greens had been aerated so they could have been smoother, but speed was very consistent.
Good course. staff could improve
Overall this is a very good course although it could have been a better experience if the staff better and if there was a course Marshall to keep the pace up. there is also a silly curfew time
Thomas ripping darts
Trailer is a clubhouse. Golf north owns it so probably a sub division in a couple years. Manager was ripping darts and didn’t give a crap.
