A great place to Golf
Course was wonderful and the staff and marshallers fantastic and very helpful. We will be back and will definatly tell others.
course well laid out
everything A 1 this is all I can say!!!!!!!!!!!!!o.k. I am not a writer.
Disappointed.
Course was overpacked. Took 1.5 hours to play 4 holes so we left. Told them at the club house of our frustration. Golf pro response was "did you play the practice hole first " We did as there were 2 groups waiting on the first tee. He said well the. You actually played 5 holes in 1.5 hours and that's different. I thought that was the dumbest response anyone could provide so I walked out and will never ever go back.
Nice Course
Course was in great shape! Staff are friendly. My only comment is the course layout does not bring you back near the clubhouse after the front nine. Outhouses are few and far between.
I love the fact that the carts have GPS. This really helps with the yardage and hence club choice.
Lots of water and sand at interesting points on various holes.
Great time
I enjoyed my round. Course in good shape. Wasn't fussy that 4 greens were punched. Other than that it was a great day.
Friendly staff
Right out of the gate the clubhouse staff and Marshall on first hole we're awesome
Had a great 9 holes
Fun at the Canadian
Love the Canadian Golf and Country Club. The 27-hole course is fun and challenging. Staff are very friendly and the service is excellent. Generous practice greens, chipping green, sand trap training, and driving range. Prices are very reasonable and t-time access is great.
Beware "golf and dine players" in evenings
Course was very good and staff very friendly, BUT the pro shop did not warn us that they were going to insert 24 players after six holes. This forced us to skip 6 holes to get ahead of these players since there were 8 "golf and dine players" per hole. The wait would have been terrible. Other than that a great course.
Good course
Had a bad round of golf, but still a great facility, very hard fairways and fast greens
Les aménagements de ce terrain sont très bien réalisés
Les vert sont beaux mais pas asse rapide, plusieurs trous sont un peu Mickey Mouse ( peut réaliste ) mais beaux.
Mickey Mouse layout
Would not play this course again - I played with three others and one referred to the course as Mickey Mouse referring to some of the ridiculous hole layouts and I'd have to agree - the tee boxes were also in rough shape - that being said, there are a lot of other courses in the area where I would rather spend my money to play!!!
Good course with excellent practice facility!
We golfed at Canadian on 4 July with excellent weather. The course was extremely busy but the starter controlled the flow without difficulty. Course in very good condition with fair fairway and true greens. Playing pace was a bit slow due to very slow groups in front but enjoyed the round as usual. Practice facility is one of the best in Ottawa.
Slow Play
The problem is that when you book online you have no visibility in terms of tournament activity taking place at the course. For our group we were caught behind a very poorly organized tournament and the round took 6 hours to play. Not enjoyable to say the least.
Great...everything
Great golf organization!! Fairways and greens in great shape as always and great friendly service, that makes you want to go back!!
The Canadian golf and Country Clu
course in very. good shape. Day we played it was very windy making playing conditions more difficult. Enjoyable round!
Great shape, greens perfect.
As usual, The Canadian was in excellent shape, especially for so early in the season. Great round of golf.
Awesome
Getting food and drinks not the best
Conditions were awesome
Greens are in great shape
Overall the course is in great shape as always. The only complaint is that it seems to always be a much longer round of golf on this course. I like the place a lot but pace of play should be quicker.
Great shape for April
This course is in amazing shape for April with the exception of 2 holes with a bit of winter burn the greens were fantastic.
Worth the trip!
Made the trip from Belleville to Ashton to meet up with a friend ... well worth it!
From the phone call, to the personalized GPS on the cart, to the the parking lot send off, Anthony was GREAT to deal with.
The course held up well after the earlier rains, and the shot-value was outstanding.
Many blind tee shots added a "hmmm" component that was nicely balanced by the "fire away" openness on other holes.
The greens were challenging but fair, and thankfully not TOO fast, or we would not have finished until midnight! In short: pay attention to the breaks!
The GN price was the clincher and made Canadian a must-play course.
We will be back!
