Links Course
The overall conditions of this course is excellent, the greens were running very fast.
There are at least 100+ bunkers and they come into play on many holes.
Lots of challenges for the experienced golfer to the high handicapper.
Love this course.
Amazing round of golf.
From time of check in to last putt Tarandowah never fail to impress. Will be back.
Dirty carts
The cart we were given was covered in dust had to clean the seat or would have had dirt on our golf clothing.
Great Spring day for golf
My son and I enjoyed our first round together in 2023. Although it’s only the middle of April the course was in good condition and it was such a beautiful day. It was somewhat windy and did make the course somewhat more difficult.. We walked the course and there was no beverage cart and no place to refill our water bottles so that was a little disappointing. We do plan on going back as we were overall very satisfied.
Early spring golf
My first round of the year
Good, challenging course with conditions appropriate for the time of year
Great links course not in the UK
This is an excellent version of true links golf with pot bunkers, firm fairways and wispy fescue. The greens putted very well and some local knowledge is needed on some holes to take advantage of them fully. Overall a fun and challenging experience in playing links golf. We played on a day with winds gusting to 45-50 kmh so it really made it feel authentic. Be sure to play tees that lean toward being shorter than your normal course if it is windy. Overall very enjoyable and I am playing again in a week’s time.
Great track
It has been a few years since I have played here, very much enjoyed playing this links style golf course. It played firm and fast just like it should. Will be back soon.
Test your game
Tarandowah is unlike any course in the area, with fast hard fairways lined with fescue focus is on hitting fairways, missing pot bunkers which like true links style courses are an automatic stroke penalty.
Blind shots and undulating greens place premium on distance control and imagination of shots.
If the wind is up, which is often, this adds the extra dimension which makes this course a must play for anyone who truly wants to test their game on a different type of golf course.
