well designed course
Everything but one about this course I love The greens where in mint condition with subtle breaks and you ball gets a true roll with the perfect speed and smoothness of them Mt only complaint is I would like to seen a proper amount of sand in the greenside bunkers. I did hit one into one on a par 3 and well it was is my mind way too hard as there wasnt enough sand almost impossible to get under the ball so the sand will carry it out if they got some nice white sand in them I would say this course is perfect
This is a very pretty and scenic course, even if your game's not on you at least get to take in some beautiful vistas
Head to the Highlands
Despite much of the round being played in the rain, I loved the Highlands course. Changes in elevation, sloping tree-lined fairways and fast undulating greens make this course a good test, particularly from the tips where I played with a friendly member. If you are in the area you will definitely want to play this one. Staff were friendly, the member was fun to play with and, despite the lousy weather, I will definitely want to play this course again as often as I can.
Very nice golf rounding!!
Walker of Golf CC and condition, everything are very nice!!!
I was played at the Black Tee!!
It's yardage is 6,631 yard and rating;72.3, slope;131.
It's challenging and course view is so beautiful.
And the GolfNow price is so cheap.
This course has great view
I was so happy to play wth my wife.
I really want to play again.
House lined fairways.... No thanks.
This is a great course if you enjoy house lined fairways (not tree lined). We had children run out onto the fairway on one hole while we teeing off, had to scream at them as a ball was flying right at there heads. The course itself is in great shape and the staff is friendly. It's a shame I'm betting before all the houses rolled in this world have been a beautiful course. If you're looking for views play Hockley Valley, better views without the houses.
Learn to hit it straight. The fairways at The Highlands are very generous. You either need to play more appropriate tees or take a lesson.
This course has great lay out.
This course has not only excellant course design
but also has several great view points.
Especially the colour change is the one of
Great course to play
the course starts with an easy par 4 .....then a nice par 5 ...u have to hit the ball on the fairway ....there's trees everywhere...so u better bring extra balls ...u will need them... great all around course....enjoy the views....i'd play it all time...if the price is right.... a little expensive... if you don't get it off Golfnow.com.
Great course but get there very early
Course was in excellent shape and a challenging track. Stunning scenery in the fall.
Downsides were that they were understaffed at the pro shop. I had to wait 20 min in line to pay for me green fee which caused me to be late for my tee time. My fault for showing up late, right? In my defence, I went to the horseshoe resort and asked an employee where the course was 45 min prior to tee time. They said they were not sure but directed me to where they thought it was which was incorrect. How does an employee not know where the golf course is?
If it's your first time, go super early so u don't get lost. Expect to wait 15-20 to pay for green fee.
Great value for a championship course. Keep it straight off the tee and you will do fine
Nice place to play
Course was in excellent shape. Crew at the bag drop were a little slow and not that friendly or interested in their job. Could have had a marshall on the course as pace of play was slow, just over 5 hours. Beverage prices were a little high for this facility. Weather cooprerated and the game was average.
Good Day for Golf!
Would recommend this course to anyone. Good value for the money. Reservation made on Golf Now.com. My wife and I really enjoyed the views from many of the holes. Pro Shop was very helpful with our extra purchases.
Keep your drives straight on all holes! long holes so make sure you middle game is on!
GOlf Now . Com is the way to Go
This course is set in a residential setting but has great Pines Spruce and Colourful Maple and Oaks The fall is great for the colours Greens are undulated some fairways narrow. Great shape Price includes a cart.
This course is awesome from tee blocks to pin and has most holes isolated from the next so you have the benefit of playing each hole without distraction. A few have homes backing on them but this was not a problem. The tee times were properly spaced so the course was not jammed or slow, absolutely loved it!
I had a great afternoon playing the highlands course. I was paired very fun group. The greens were very quick and the course was challenging. This is my new favourite course.
The course was in great shape. Excellent value especially for the price we paid on Golfnow. Look forward to the next visit.
The course is in great shape. Haven't played here since early 2000 and it great as expected. Only disappointment was no Marshall to keep the pace moving.
