Our Round on the Highlands course at Horseshoe Valley
We booked through GolfNow and took advantage of an excellent deal. We were able to tee off earlier than our booked time & thoroughly enjoyed the day. Beautiful golf course with scenic holes throughout. Challenging course but fun. Friendly staff. We would highly recommend it to anyone. We plan on returning to play the Valley course.
Horshoe highlands
Beautiful course, excellent shape all round. Very expensive beer ($25 for 3) needs more waste containers. They clean your clubs after your round! Golf cart a must, would take you at least 6 hours to walk. Thanks, I would come back if the price was right again!
Course was in very good condition.
Nice variety of holes. Just under four hours to play as foursome.
Fast pace and very reasonable cost
Excellent course conditions, very challenging course, extremely friendly and helpful staff....excellent pace of play since it was not a very busy day.
Excellent dollar value!
Nice course. Visually great. Bring your A game.
Really liked playing the Highlands. It's a championship course and it shows. From the tips it'd be forever to get to most tees. From blues and whites it's fair and feels long. Lots of holes where you're on narrow tree lined fairways off the tee. Others, open but with hazards. Grip & Rip isn't going to be pretty. But it's also not super hard or aggravating at all. Fun to play at any level, harder if you're trying to shoot a low score.
Great golfnow deal
Pretty good shape for early in the season. We will be back if we get another deal!!'
great course!
The course was in excellent shape, especially for May golf. There were issues on check in. The computer systems were down, they also wanted to charge me the regular rate even though I had booked on golf now. We almost missed our tee time because of this. The pace of play was good on the front 9. Very slow on the back 9. Marshall was no where to be found on the back 9. Drinks are very expensive. Overall though it's a nice course and was good value for the price.
golf horse shoe valley highlands
when arriving at course there was someone to take club out of car and onto golf cart and then I picked up my cart up at driving range which was right outside of pro shop very cool. Sunny day and a decent round later someone was there at the 18 hole to clean my clubs again very cool. Overall day at this course was excellent
Beautiful in fall and the cart are great, electric and powerfull
On a beautiful day of late october, golf was amazing with all the surronding colors, cool but nice golfing day on this nice golf course.
Very nice course with narrow fairways
This is a very nice course with narrow fairways that were in great shape. Greens were aerated in the past week or so and were still a little bumpy on the back 9 especially. Sand traps are well cared for and there is very little water in play. Overall a great course.
Beautiful course
Need beverage cart. Best golf sandwich at the highlands clubhouse.
As always this one's well worth it ....
Haven't played the Highlands at Horseshoe for over a year, so being in the area for a few days made this a priority.
The course was as usual very enjoyable. A good challenge and well maintained.
Nice course but reservation issue
Tee time was booked 2.5 hours after start of a shotgun tournament so they had no place to put us for 30 minutes until a gap occurred. They bought us a drink to make up.
The course is very nice and well kept.
Played twice at the course and will play again when I am in the area.
A very enjoyable round of golf
Round was played in a very acceptable four hours . The course plays in and thru some magnifricent scenery. Course in very good condition
Great course, greens are fast
Staff freindly. Nasty pin placements that day. greens break on every putt.
Enjoyable
I am an 8-12 handicap player, depending on how regularly I am playing. My playing partner is about a 20. We both thoroughly enjoyed the course and the experience. Picturesque, challenging and fun. Lots of variety in the holes. SeptemberThe course was in excellant condition, especially the greens. We'll play there again soon.
nice mature course
Well worth the value. If only people at resort courses would repair their ball marks and divots it would be a perfect world.lol.
Beautiful and Immaculate - My Wife's Favourite
The Highland course is Horseshoe's course situated in the highland, not the valley. It has been used for the CPGA championships.
The course starts off with what used to be the back nine which takes you out in the more scenic portion of the course and ends with what used to be the front nine which winds through the backyards of some stunning homes..
This course is more foregiving with it's wide fairways and not as much water as the Valley course; however, it is a long course and is challenging.
The starter on our day of play was very, very friendly and allowed me and my wife to play alone which was appreciated.
Great Course all around
Highlands are in great shape. Some tricky holes, some easy holes but great bang for your buck. Definitely going back
