Beautiful course!
The Horseshow valley resort Highlands course was challenging with a great layout! The course was well maintained and nicely groomed. Located just off the 400 Hwy. It is a nice drive from Toronto for a great afternoon of golf. I have played numerous courses in the GTA and southern ontario with a price range between $25-$75 per round and I would rate this course as one of the top in that range.
Great course, especially given time of year.
I thoroughly enjoyed playing this course. It is in excellent condition and is well worth a visit.
Very nice layout and in good shape.
We enjoyed playing the course and the price was excellent and would play it again for the same price.
Great course. Highly recommend to anyone.
Course in great shape. I love the variety of holes with elevation changes and quiet peacefule setting. Staff always very friendly and accomodating.
Great Course
One of my favorite courses. Challenging and always a pleasure to play.
Very scenic and in excellent condition for the time of year
I enjoyed the scenery and the condition of the course considering the time of year. The leaves were all cleared off the fairways and if you stayed on the fairway you were easily able to keep track of the balls.
some really tight holes and modified tee decks due to buildings. mostly really nice though
some really pretty holes, some not so much due to proximity to developments.
greens are ok, not the best
front 9 has some really challenging holes.
gotta hit long and straight off the tee or your score will suffer.
all and all a fun golf course
This course has a variety of very challenging golf holes
The golf course is very well maintained the layout is exceptional and the staff are top notch
great day on this course
Enjoyed this course very much. Narrow fairways, fast true greens, very scenic. Not overly long. Best to play from blues. Would definitely play again
this coaurse has challenging 3s and 5s and a couple of very long 4s
As a intermediate golfer I found this coaurse quite challenging with changes in elavation on the coaurse , the fives fairly open while some four where very tight
Great mature course with great setting
The Highlands is a beautiful, mature , challenging course. It has tree lined fairways with enough hills and valleys to make it challenging and yet, playable by all levels of golfers.
I highly recommend a day or 2 at Horse Valleys Highland course.
Nice setting for most holes
It would have been nicer if they don't change the original 1st hole to being the 10th and from a par 4 to par 3.
To play the course you need to meander thru several residential streets basically thru a tour of the neighborhood.
But the area is still an enjoyable course to play away from the city.
Worth the drive
We played the Highlands course and although the facillities were not much too look at the course was tight ( tree lined) and very scenic. Greens were fast and true. Hitting fairways a must here. We'll try Valley course next time
Highlands: Well worth it.
I have played the Highlands course at 10 times a year since it was upgraded to 18 holes. Always in great condition.
