Very friendly staff
Course was in very good conditions given the amount of rain.
Lots of unfixed ball marks, too bad that players cannot fix theirs plus 1.
Looking forward to playing again this year.
Well maintained course
Course was in great shape and played well. The only difficulty is there are a few very blind tee shots within the hilly landscape of settlers. Very good course though!
Love this course
The best course in the area well maintained. This course is beautiful and challenging at same time staff is amazing.
Great course
First time playing this course, as we were up in the Barrie area for a few days. I was so impressed with this course I had to write a review, which I’ve never done on GolfNow. Course was in great condition after some heavy rain the day before. Soft fairways, decent length in the rough, greens were in great shape, and beautiful scenery all around! If I lived near here I’d join this course in a heartbeat and play all my golf here. Highly recommend. Oh, pace of play was awesome too, and we were walking between two other married couples.
Very scenic course
The course is in excellent condition and challenging. Not a lot of water hazards which is great because there are many blind shots. We arrived very early and the staff were able to get my wife and I out right away. We walked the course and there are some significant elevation changes. We were not exhausted but we are generally fit. We like walking when we can. There are many added features like fencing, large rocks and old farm equipment displayed all around the course. Very picturesque. Well done by the designers. There is some ares with fescue grass but it isn't in play unless you are really off course. We enjoyed our round.
Good course for the monday
Tornado warning had us inside for 30 minutes however we finished the round and the course dealt with the extreme rain surprisingly well. Was my second time and won’t be my last
Great track, slow greens
For my first time playing this course, I was very impressed with the conditions, pace of play and layout. My vinyl complaint would be the greens were on the slow side for what I’m used to. While they rolled great and true, they were quite slow. Regardless I would play this course again and recommend to anyone.
Just ok
Like others have said, way too many blind tee shots. There’s no “surprise” trouble on the blind shots as long as you keep it down the middle, but not a fan of SO many. Course conditions were, for the most part, very good, except for 1 or 2 greens and 1 very bad tee. The biggest issue wasn’t something that’s the fault of the course — people are apparently incapable of repairing their ball marks on the greens or not dragging their feet. I fixed at least 4 ball marks on every single green and I probably could’ve done 20 if I had the time — just terrible. The other “big” issue I had was the cost — I understand why they charge a premium for single rider carts given the COVID situation, but $44 for green fees, plus $27 for the cart, plus tax?! This is NOT a $70-$80 course; not even remotely close.
