Rochester Place Golf Club

Everything is good with this course.
Would recommend Rochester Place Golf Course to anyone.

It's a very nice course but the pace of play is often very slow in the weekends.

Excellent Hot Deal. Course is a nice course with good layout.
Worst pace of play ever ever. 25 mins late teeing off. Why? They allowed 4 straight two-somes to go off in front of us without forcing any to play as foursomes. Then twice approached us about pace of play and when we suggested that it was brutally slow they still didn't combine them. On 9th green, 3hrs later we were told we could not stop at clubhouse to get food or drink or washrooms and must immediately go to 10th tee because a shotgun tournament needed to tee off and WE were holding them up. Best of all the group behind us on the 9th tee who had hit their drives were forced to pick their drives up from the fairway and exit the hole and go wait at the 10th hole for us to tee off. They were not even allowed to finish the front nine. When they complained they were told they could not have their money back only a raincheck for 9 holes (back nine) NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I SEEN PAYING CUSTOMERS TREATED THIS WAY BY A GOLF COURSE!
We arrived at the golf course at 10:40am for our 11:07 tee time. Finished the 18th hole at 5:02pm (6hr45mins) without even an opportunity to have a break or chance for food. But expected to buy beer from their beer cart.

We were able to tee off 15 minutes early as there was only 1 group ahead of us on the first hole. Since we were only a 3-some, they allowed us through on the 2nd hole. We played 18 holes in 3 hours. Back 9 was closed for aeration so we played front 9 twice. No hold-up. Pace of play was great.

We were most impressed with lack of leaves on course. At this time of year it can be so frustrating looking for balls forever and found the course to be almost vacuumed of leave. Course was in great shape and have played before there and like the course very much

This is a nice course. The trees and water offer a reasonable challenge. Unfortunately the drought has left its mark on the course (tee boxes, fairways and greens). But I appreciate that they have not been wasting water trying to fight it more than they should. It's still a very nice course to play!!

They call themselves a "Premier" course. Does a Premier course have port-a-potties washrooms, terrible sand traps (only 3), golf carts with ripped seats and spider webs, skunky water, very little beauty, The only thing here Premier is their high prices.

nice course in good shape. Spent lot of time repairing other peoples divots. Wish people would show a little respect for the work the staff put into getting the greens in such good shape

Have not played for some time. Very fast play and very improved from before

no rangers on course visible golf cart crossings very dangerous should have railings [narrow]

We played this course as a best ball scramble with 40 guys from Mitchells Bay Ontario. Course was ok the Beer Cart girl needs to smile-she didnt want to be there. 16 of us went into the Bar after for food and drinks-after our 2nd-yes 2nd Beer we were told that our group was "CUT OFF" We asked why and were told its been along day thanks for coming. The Bar manager was brought into explain and again we were told its been along day thanks for coming. The Bar Manager needs to take a public relations course because she just lost ALOT of business. My overall impression of the whole Bar staff was they all need more training in customer service DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!!!!!!!!!

We as a foursome waited every hole and didn't finish our full round. The group ahead of us was a five some. There were no rangers to keep pace of play.

If you make a mistake you pay heavily. Pin Placements were tough .

It was an OK day. Very hot and slow play. They started everyone on the back nine which backed everyone up. A lot of waiting and the weather was extremely hot. It was not a good combination!
