I was a fan of this course when it was 18 holes. Not as much now that they intermixed 9 new holes . Although this was many years ago I come back once a year and get in 12 holes of the old course and then have to play 6 holes that are clearly an after thought. The holes aren’t terrible they just don’t have the same flow as the old course. The price is reasonable but it’ll be once a year or once every couple years because of the mixed holes.
Coming back to slay the Dragon
I had a friend recommend this course. He said it was challenging and was in great condition.
He was right.I'm making plans to return and take another attempt to slay the Dragon!
Usually nice, but a little pricy
I’ve heard a lot of bad things about Glen Eagle but I usually enjoy myself. I think they’re trying to level up a little, but they have work to do.
Only 2 of the 3 9-hole courses ever seem to be available (Blue/Yellow) which is puzzling.
Clubhouse / bar is weak, and the stop at the turn between Blue 9 and Yellow 1 never seems to be open.
Great Value
Excellent course to play. I have played here several times over the past year and have been fortunate to meet really cool people and learned a lot from them as well.
Still a good course to play
A bit curious on why some small ponds were filled up with earth. Is this a preparation for some future land development or simply reduce the chance of lost balls in the water? Overall speaking, the course is still in pretty good shape with fairways n greens well maintained. Roughs were cut short making ball finding much easier and pace faster. Today is a bit wet after rain and not many players around. Staff is very polite n friendly. This course is quite beautiful with ups n downs and very enjoyable in sunny days.
Poor condition
Course was in terrible condition
From huge holes and piles of dirt right in the fairway to non mulched rough grass
Never seen the course this bad before
