Traditional-style course, many trees, small greens
First time playing this old established course. Lush fairways with numerous swales and interesting lies. Eventhough the greens had been aerated a few weeks previously, they were still true and surprisingly fast. The #1 handicap hole at 440 yards for a par 4 is quite a challenge.

The greens are always in good shape. You are able to stop a ball, and they are always lightning quick.
I try to play this course at least 2 times a year, doesn't matter if its a hot and dry summer the course is always green.

great value for your money
6600yds from the tips doesnt make it long but the rolling fairways and well placed traps make it a good challenge. you dont need to be perfect as the holes seem to open up where misses are most common. all in all a great track for the money. well maintained greens that roll true and consistent.
This course has a lot of isolated fairways
The front 9 has mostly isolated fairways through pine forest. Wide forgiving rough before the woods. The greens are quick but manageable. The back 9 has more elevation changes and a few holes that run near each other but still very difficult to hit another fairway.

I have been playing borden off and on for the past 25 years The green where in great shape The one and only thing I dont like is that the fairways are up and down If they where all perfectly flat I would give it a higher rating but for what I paid it was well worth the money
Rolling fairways and excellent greens. No quirky holes just straight up golf.
My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed 18 holes at the course yesterday. There were few people on the course and the GolfNow pricing was very good as it included the cart. Fairly open fairways kept most of the balls in play but nature and wild turkeys made this a fun experience.

Course was in phenomenal shape, greens in immaculate condition. Got stuck behind a slow foursome on the front nine, but flew on the back. Ended up playing 27. Very happy with our day.

The greens were fast but very fair.The rough was short very easy to find your ball.Borden Golf gets it speeds up play.The course gave you confidence which enabled us to score well.The scenery was great with kinds of wild life.See attached photo's.
Course is in good shape.
It was a great day for golf, we were able to tee off a little bit ahead of schedule. There were a couple of single therefore faster players who we allowed to play through. All things went well.

Classic course with excellent restaurant
I've played this course numerous times and always find it challenging and fun. The course is well setup for walking although on those hot afternoons you're probably better off in a cart. The clubhouse serves up outstanding food at very reasonable prices and has a patio that offers a view of the 10th tee box and and green. I recommend this course to any of my friends passing thru the area.
Loved the trees on every hole. A variety of challenges on every hole.
The course was in very good condition. Play was slow due to a foursome who did not let us play through. We were only a twosome. Perhaps they should pair people to make foursomes so you don't have to wait as long. We skipped a hole andn there was nobody in front of us after that.

The staff and facilities are excellent. The course is very nicely kept, nice bunkers guarding the greens, challenging pin placements, and often kinda quiet mid week so no pressure golf! The Golf now prices are incredible!

I enjoyed the layout. Could have a little better signage around to help going from hole to hole.
The greens had just been area-rated and top dressed but were in good shape. No winter kill.
Could have more yardage marker on the tee boxes and fairways for us that don't have GPS.
I enjoyed the the round and will tell all my golf buddies.

More signage to get to course would be helpful to everyone who has never driven through Borden. Also, yardage marks were difficult to find.
We played with a couple who we had never met & they were military personnel who made us feel extremely welcome. They were very proud of their course which says a great deal!

Hint: The ball does NOT curl as much as it looks, aim at the hole.
