Course is in good condition for the hot temperatures
I enjoy this course. Purchased green fees on Under Par and you can't beat the price. Course is good to walk.
Bring bug spray
The course is in OK condition. Mosquitoes were horrible though.
Over priced course when playing at prime time
Saturday morning rate was $58.70 to walk, which is way over priced for the course. Considering you can play black diamond for 75 including a cart, I would prefer to go there instead next time.
Good condition
Course is in good condition considering the rain to start the year. Playing back tees makes the course more challenging and offers some interesting club selections.
bad course and staff
lady in the pro shop is so rude, fairways are terrible. hole placement is unfair at times.
So close to a hidden gem
Wow, so close to being a real hidden gem in my view.
Played this course for the first time today (July 13, 2015).
First of all, we played as a twosome with a scheduled 10:00am tee-off. We were able to start about 9:45 and were off the course by 12:30. Less than 3 hours. There was almost nobody else on the course.
The tee boxes and fairways were in pretty good condition. Even the rough was fairly easy to get out of. The only issue we had was that we found the greens to be pretty hard and VERY fast. It may have simply been our hack level skill, but the struggles we had on the greens were much worse than normal.
There was no on course beverage cart that we saw. I don't know if that was more a factor of how few golfers there were on the course or if they just don't have one.
All in all... we will definitely be back. The only thing that stops me from giving this place 4 stars were the hardness of the greens. If they were a little softer, this would easily be a 4 star course.
Poor pace of play
Took us 3hrs to complete the front nine and another 3 1/2 hours to complete the back nine. 6 hrs + for a round of golf? We were booked for a 2 o'clock tee off but got to tee off at 2:35. All the staff can say is that they're a little behind (obviously).
