Course in great shape...
Green aerated... there were some tree debris on the pathways and in course but no biggy.
Course was quite empty for some reason.
Value for the course shape was a little out of whack....
Love this course either way but should have been a bit cheaper based on season and shape of greens.
Disappointed
We were excited to try a new course since we didn’t get a tee time at our home course but we won’t be going back to Lionhead- Masters. The course conditions (greens, fairway, rough, bunkers- everything) were sub par. I was very surprised given the price we paid. If you have never played here before the lack of signage is shocking. The other twosome playing with us were equally as confused so I know it was not just us. We even had trouble getting back to the clubhouse after 18!
The washrooms at the turn were filthy. When we arrived in the morning we asked about the snack bar/restaurant and were told it was not open - but it was.
Overall, it was a frustrating experience.
Masters
played today with four friends not bad course , rough shape if you ask me and slow play . Made you pay for range balls kinda weird if you ask me for thAt kind of money . Some nice holes need more maintence , beautiful island hole just looks run down to bad
Hole cup makes us crazy
I am going to say a terrible memory on that day play. I made second on the green at par 4 hole but I can't finish to par or boggy even double boggy. This wasn't happened only that hole but also the others. I believe 100 percent of hole at this Master course was designed the hole cup on the edge toward down break then I can't make stop my ball. Not only me but also my group members too. I have played many times this course and legend as well but this kind of experience was first. I invited my friends but they went back with bad feelings when we finished 18 hole. I strongly recommend the trained people has to decide the location for the hole cup so far. Thanks!
Excellent day on the course
Perfect day on the course great conditions and excellent amenities
Thanks
Good round of golf
Would recommend to those looking for a solid round of golf.
First Time here
Tidy course with some interesting holes. We were a 2 ball off scratch and 7 handicap and we were paired with 2 singles off 18 and 20 something. The guys were helpful as they had played before but some of the holes a bit strange off the back tees.
Greens OK except one or two of the par 3's which had lots of pitch marks and scuff marks.
Bar food and staff were great before and after our round - nice day out at a sensible price.
More than i'm used to paying, but worth it for the experience.beautiful course, beautiful day, and mybest game of the year
Beside busy with tournament
It was nice experience with few folks I was hooked with.
Funny guys....
Bunkers can be better ..no sand but hard sand...
Maintenance people should shut off there equipments when golfers are teeing off or putting..
No where to find the Marshall..
Nice course slow play
Great course in great shape. Greens were slow. Nice amenities. Good service. Pace too slow. No marshals on the course to get slow players moving so we ended up skipping a few holes. The tees offs should be more staggered as some of the course was empty and other areas were clogged with slow play. Easy to fix but no Marshall was around to ensure smooth pace of play. With a course this nice they need to balance pace. Would go back as course has always been fair and challenging.
Will send to the Proshop as we have Marshals on the schedule till 8pm on both courses.
Great golf day
Pat our starter was very friendly and offered great insight. The course was in amazing shape. Pace of play was relaxed Price was exceptional. Great value.
Pat is a character thanks for the feedback!
Good bang for the buck
Everything was satisfactory except they double booked out tee time so moved back by 20 minutes. Then that got screwed up and we finally teed off 20 minutes after our designated tee time. Outside of this the rest of the day was very good
Thanks we will pass along to the proshop to investigate!
Thanks
Lionhead Masters - My first Choice
Course is always in great shape. Somewhat challlenging especially #16 the Island hole.
The equipment is excellent working order and all fairly new condiition.
Staff friendly.
Thanks, 16 gets a few golf balls in the pond!
Thanks, it has been a tough start to the season with snow until April 21st. Typically by that point we have cleaned debris and cut the greens. This year has been one of the latest starts ever.
