A Gem
For what it is, (short, mostly par 3's, nine hole layout), it is an excellent course with terrific greens. The course appears to be well watered in the midst of this drought. A fun course to play and good value.
Nice 9 hole course
This is a great course for practicing your short game and chipping/putting. Not challenging for an advance level golfer but fine for beginner to intermediate. The course is well maintained and staff are friendly. Senior discount for 55 and older is a nice incentive.
Never Again
The course is not well maintained at all. There are tire tracks through the middle of the fairways from carts and/or landscaping equipment and the fairways also range from being as hard as a rock to a mushy as a bog (in some cases even being bog-like). Furthermore, the food is overpriced even for a golf course, takes an eternity to prepare, and to top it off the quality is below average.
Additionally, the manager enjoys accusing patrons of playing extra rounds and , to use her own words, accosts those who she believes to have in some way played extra holes. My experience with her involved a long and angry conversation that totally ruined what had been a great day of golf with my friends. She began by assuming that she had spoken to me and my friends before about stealing holes or re-playing 4 through 6. After that we explained that our long round time was due to waiting for food and bad play at the start of the season she continued to harass and belittle us about our alleged thievery without listening to our explanation. This manager had the worst customer service skills I've ever encountered and her conduct has ensured that I will never again visit her course.
The course is challenging enough for an amateur golfer
Considering that we played at a balmy 5C weather condition. The course is still excellent and offered a challenging play for both myself and my golf buddy. The free coffee help quell the cold temperature. Will recommend this course any time of the year.
Good value
Nice for beginner with not many ppl playing. Basically you can play at your pace.
First TIme
Great par -3 course, would play here again!
Make sure to bring a few extra sleeves of balls.
This course is somewhat challenging and in good shape.
This course is well maintained with scenic environment. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Will make sure things are done right for the benefit of all the players.
Very Pretty and Interesting
No need for a driver or woods but good variety of par 3s (7) and two short par 4s that require a 4 or 5 iron off the tee and then wedge to green. Longest carry required is about 180 yards on first, third, fourth and seventh so you will likely get to hit your 4 or 5 iron or a hybrid a few times. Second is a cute little 100 yard hole, and there are four good 150 to 160 yard par3s. Green are generally quite large for an executive course. Scenery is very nice. Greens pretty good (a little slow) while fairways are not great but certainly OK and really only in play on the two par 4s. Good course for beginners as well as those looking to work on their irons.
Very nice course
The course was excellent. The course was easy to follow. I would definitely come play here again.
Good short course
Great course for beginners. Not many hazards, wide fairways and large greens. I walked the course in under an hour. Staff is very friendly
Lost one. Callaway .... Please return to owner
Great short course if you are looking to use your irons . Course is well manicured and the greens are in good shape .
Well kept course and friendly staff
Good 9-holes, but very busy so it was a slow pace. Well kept greens and forewares and good food.
Nice 9 hole course
A good course for someone who is above novice but not a pro. A good mix of short and longer distance holes with not too many water hazards or sand traps. Always enjoy playing here.
Lyndebrook is a nice course
The courses was maintained well. course consist of mostly par 3's with a couple par 4's. Only 9 holes.
Excellent Executive Golf
Found a fantastic deal on GolfNow for Lyndebrook Golf course and was disappointed initially that it was basically a par three course. This was quickly changed as the course was in fantastic shape and the course was nicely cut into the surrounding woodlands. Sunday golf at its finest, the only complaint I had is it is a little too far from the GTA to go for a quick 9 holes, but if I lived in the area it would be a great place to play!
Good course for a quick nine holes
I was out in this area for dinner and decided to check the course out for a quick nine beforehand. For the price, this is a great little 9 hole course, conditions were good and the pace was great. It's not overly long and most average golfers won't need the driver as the few longer par 4's are doglegs and trying to cut the corner with the driver will likely result in a lost ball. Great course to work on your irons and short game.
Great 9 hole course.
I really enjoy this course, it's a great value. Conditions of the greens could improve but I'd recommend this course to anyone.
This course is fun and challenging
The course is pretty and allows me to use many different clubs. The pace of play was fantastic and people are very friendly, players and staff. Great way to spend Saturday afternoon. Good deal through Golf Now!
9 holes
It is a pretty course and is challenging. The regular pricing for 9 holes is expensive but using golf now it becomes reasonable. The pace of play on wkends is slow. I have raised this with staff last year and this year, yet no one deals with it.
