Hello, thank you for taking the time to review our course, Tyandaga Municipal Golf Club. We are sorry to see that you may have had a poor experience with us. Any additional feedback is greatly appreciated so that we can improve your experience with us in the future. Thank you for choosing to golf with us, we hope to see you again soon.
17th under Construction
We booked this course as we have for the past number of years and although the course is usually in great shape, we were not notified that the 17th hole was not playable due to construction until we arrived at the course. Until the construction is completed you will play the 10th hole a second time, and then play 18. Not a huge inconvenience, but it would’ve been nice to know when we booked.
Course overall was in good shape but very wet in spots.
Good value on Golf Now
Course still very wet but overall enjoyable.
No flat lies, lots of up and downs. Greens in very good condition.
Hello. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are sorry to see that your overall experience was anything short of 5 stars, but we hope you'll give us another try in the near future.
Very challenging course at least for me, a new golfer of this year. It allows you to opt on the side of greed if you want to risk it, but rewards you if you hit a good shot.
1st and 17th holes are sort of nuts. Lots of good drop areas on the par 3s if needed
Pace of play
Back nine was so backed up we walked off the course. No marshalling was being done. This is usually not the case at this course. Unfortunate as it was a beautiful day
Nice city run course some challenging holes. Greens were fair . Very good value.
This course is well maintained and offers a good golf challenge as each hole is different and interesting to play. However, they allow children on the course who can't play and first timers who can't play and don't watch how pace of play is affected. It took us almost 6 hours to play their 18 holes. We met people on the course that were so upset with how horrible the pace of play was that they were walking off.
We would not play here again or recommend it because of this. It is unfortunate because it's a good course and for a great value.
Best shape in 10+ years
Best shape the course has been in 10+ years
Book and early AM tee time and enjoy your round
We were almost done the front nine before the rain came. And they won’t let on after the rain, got a rain check for the back nine.
First time playing Tyandaga this season and I was most pleasantly surprised.
The tees, fairways, greens and bunkers were in excellent condition for the middle of the summer unlike previous summers when the course was so seriously burned out that it was difficult to keep the ball on the fairway. The superintendent and the grounds crew have done a remarkable job.
In addition the sausages that my partner and I munched on at the turn were most tasty.
Interesting and Challenging
Tyandega has some very challenging holes to keep you sharp. Interesting layout.
