Fun day
This course has a great design, lots of dog-legs and elevation changes. Other than a couple of tee-decks that were being renovated, the course was in good shape. Greens were fast and challenging.
Great course for the average golfer, maybe too short for long hitters
good value, but the ratings are disceiving
Some holes are really nice, but the round gets boring fast. Seems like every green is a mound with the grass cut short and a flag stick on top.
Nice Course
Mont Hill is a nice course in good condition - especially the greens. Played all three 9 hole courses - gold is the easiest. Added touch, each hole has a brightly painted bench matvpching the course colour (gold, red & blue).
This course is very good
Was paired with a friendly couple who gave me tips on each hole. I enjoyed the course very much.

The holes are lined with scotch pines ...you feel like your in augusta....kinda
MontHill Golf Course
The course is extremely tight and it provides an opportunity practicing your long /mid irons as well as your wedges.
All greens are small and fast however, they all are well receptive to quality shots.
Sand traps are ok, fairways and tee boxes are in poor condition however.
Good deal for money you paying for this course to play, will come back for sure...

Course is in great shape.The greens are like lightning but put true.not a real long course but very challenging

Surprisingly Challenging!
I didn't have any idea going into MontHill but was very pleasantly surprised leaving. The course is challenging to all levels of golfers and plays far more difficult than what the score card indicates.
The course reminded me a lot of an overly touted city course that has the words "Forest" and "King's" in it as the tee box presentations are elevated, demanding driving holes into heavily coniferous tree lined fairways and forced carry approach shots, however, MontHill does offers the odd short scoring holes alleviated with middle length par 3s for assured fun.
Conditions wise the course is very playable. The rough are a challenge for recovery shots and at times, forced advancement of play. The greens are medium paced or moderately slow at times depending if you are above or below the hole, either way; the greens do roll true and read fairly straight forward.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating on all counts. I really felt a sense of local friendly atmosphere.
I truly had an enjoyable experience and would definitely recommend MontHill to all golfers who are passing by.
Great value golf using Golf Now
The course is in great condition. I am a high handicap so it is forgiving and very enjoyable and challenging to play.

Monhill Golf - Caledonia
Everything about the course is great, staff, food, course, facilities etc. However, the round was purchased from GolfNow and we were supposed to play the Yellow and Red nines, but they told us to start on the Blue, and then when we came around, they told us to play the Blue again due to a tournament. Not a good experience.
Hilly and tree lined
My initial thought about this course was that it would be flat and wide open. Just the opposite.
Great shape with a lot of different looking holes. Fast greens as well.
Reminds me of Flamborough Hills.

Very Nice Course, Will Return Again and Again
Course is in very good condition, best greens I've seen, and I have played about 15 different courses this season. Many long dog leg fairways, and challenges, somewhat feels as if you're playing up north.
