Golf in October!!
Who can complain? Golf in October is always a bonus. Course was in tremendous shape. Weather conditions you can’t complain. Always a fun time when you see your ball moving sideways because of the wind.
My wife and I enjoyed the course very much. Challenging for men, but fair tee blocks for ladies. Large undulating greens.
Good day out
Overall good experience. On course Marshall was less than friendly and made our group feel a little uncomfortable at times. Good test of golf, length and accuracy essential off the tees. Will no doubt be back.
Meh - For this price, no way.
The conditions were great on the course, but when you don't even have a clubhouse (Sit outside of a trailer to eat) you can't charge $100 a round (and then not even marshal the course!). The pace of play was very slow, a group in front of us held up four foursomes the whole day. Frustrating to pay that money and have them manage their course -- the lack of any indoor facilities to eat is pretty laughable.
Worst bang for your buck/ poor staff
First time here and we are so disappointed!
Staff was more interested going home than serving us. They were clearly unhappy and were more interested in leaving. Course was way overpriced, especially compared to Doon Valley golf Club in Kitchener.
$85 with cart through golf now. ?
Went to order food with the small menu that was out and was told hot dogs and hamburgers only, even though the menu was right there. This was at 5:45. Put the menu away if your serving it. The Irish cook refused us our food we wanted and served agreed and they wanted to go home. no customer service! NEVER COMING BACK!
Don't Play It
Booked a tee time for 9:38am. They obviously just kept booking people in time slots that were already taken, just because they wanted the money. We did not tee off until 10:30am. Over a 5 hour round. Course in very poor condition. Certainly not worth the $100.00 we each spent to play here. Won't be back.
Course was immaculate, never hardly see another hole anywhere great.Be warned though these greens are as tough as Iv seen fast and undulating Will be back
Best condition ever
I've played this course many times over the last several years. Played yesterday, and the course was in such great shape that I booked last-minute to play again today! Greens are much more receptive than I have ever seen them, and rolling very true. Bunkers are generally well-maintained. Woods are very punitive now - no more finding your ball and chipping out. Ya gotta keep the ball in play.
Hot Day in August
Enjoyed the round today although it felt like the hottest day of the summer. Course was in decent shape but traps need work generally. Pace of play was excellent.
As always, on time tee off and our 2some was joined by a single.
Generous fairways but greens are so large it can be deceiving and you must hit it to certain portions for any success.
Greens were a bit slow but rolled well.
Great course!! Bring your our push cart...
The course was it great shape and played very well, loved the long par 5’s and 3’s shooting 81 first time was nice and would play it again... but as most ONT courses they OVER charge the power carts so the pace was EXTREMELY slow cuz most people walk due to that fact... it’s a sad fact in ONT that golf is over priced due to a short season but the power cart shouldn’t be half the price of the green fee!
Taking on the Dragon
Always enjoy playing this course, great overall condition. Alot of holes with fescue/forest area/water hazard in close proximity to playing surfaces make good course management/shot placement a must.
Great test of golf from the back tees. Will be back again for sure!
Pretty good course
Checked in at Pro Shop and staff member was very friendly and welcoming. Same thing on them range and with the starter. Positive start. By the time we had played the first hole the group in front were still on the second tee. Bearing in mind we were off quite early this was a bit disconcerting. We pretty much waited on every shot after that but over all the pace was not too bad at about four and a quarter hours. Course is in ok shape. Tee boxes uneven and a little beaten. Fairways dry. Bunkers inconsistent, some with lots of sand and others full of stones. Greens are good, running true but we’re very slow. They are obviously using a lot of water on them, which is understandable with the weather we have had. I love the layout, lots of blind shots, strong par threes and a couple of long par fives. Great finishing hole. Green fee is at the high end of the scale for comparable courses but it is still pretty reasonable. Will definitely play again.
